"This was my first time using Omni Mechanical and I am very pleased in their service of my oil fired boiler. I had recently purchased my home and had very little knowledge of any prior maintenance of the boiler. Other than knowing it’s an older unit I didn’t know what to expect of the internal components when it was opened up and inspected. The techs were nice enough to let me observe as they were opening up the unit and exposed the internals. So I could see for myself what they were talking about and physically see the condition. "I called Airwise after my former HVAC contractor diagnosed my furnace as having a seized oil pump. They quoted me over $1,300 to replace the pump and perform other services necessary to repair my furnace. They installed the furnace less than 3 years ago and this was the second oil pump that supposedly seized. Needless to say, I fired them. When Airwise came to repair my furnace, the tech showed me the pump wasn't seized and stated it looked like it wasn't installed correctly.
