"Jermaine is one of those handymen who is worth their weight in gold. I hired him and his team to perform a variety of odd jobs around my newly purchased house, and they stayed late - on a Friday afternoon no less - to successfully install appliances that Home Depot was unable to install (appliance installation was not on my original list because I didn’t think it was something Jermaine’s group did). All work Jermaine and his team did met or exceeded my expectations, and the entire time, Jermaine was focused on doing as much for me as he could. I will 100% hire Jermaine again the next time I need a handyman, and you should too."

"Pelham Heating & AC, LLC responded to my post immediately after I sent it. After speaking with their representative I did not answer other callers. They got the job and performed well. as an Octogenarian it once again shows "AN EARLY BIRD GETS THE WORM." I would call them first if I had a heating or AC problem"

"Installed the bathroom fan/light which wasn’t super easy, they had to crawl through insulation in the attic. Also changed out the broken switch on the outlet while they were there which was nice. Not terribly pricey"

"Diane was great! I wasn't sure if I was going to order my own mailbox/post and just have them install or have Diane's company do it all. After speaking with her, it was an easy decision to have them take care of everything. Her prices were extremely fair and reasonable, and she was able to work around my schedule. Her installers were professional, neat, and friendly - they did a terrific job! I would definitely use them again, and I plan on recommending them to my friends and family."

"M Craft was great throughout the whole process. They were very quick to respond and give an estimate. The pricing was very fair and they started the work for both of my projects within 10 days. The closet I had installed looks like it was built with the house and the ceiling/walls I had repaired look as good as new. I will be using M Craft in the future and I highly recommend them."

Nest Installation questions, answered by experts

New homeowners in Norwalk should start with a thorough termite inspection, as local humidity increases risk. Seal cracks around windows, doors, and the foundation to block rodent entry before colder months. Address any basement or crawl space moisture to prevent carpenter ants. Consider tick yard treatments, given the area’s prevalence, and inspect for wasp nests early in spring to prevent future infestations.

Helpful?

Norwalk’s humid summers and proximity to the coast create ideal conditions for termites, ants, and cockroaches, making regular pest control essential. Mild winters allow some pests to remain active year-round, so treatment schedules should be adjusted accordingly. Heavy spring rains can increase mosquito and ant populations, while freeze-thaw cycles in winter may open new entry points for pests around your home.

Helpful?

Before hiring a pest control pro in Norwalk, verify they have experience with local pest issues and request references from nearby clients. Ask for a detailed written estimate, including follow-up visits and warranty terms. Clarify which areas of your home need to be accessible for inspection and treatment, and discuss the environmental impact of their products, especially if your property is near wetlands or coastal areas.

Helpful?

For pest control in Norwalk, begin by inspecting your home’s foundation, crawl spaces, and attic for visible pest activity or moisture buildup. Schedule treatments during spring or fall, when pests are most active. Notify neighbors if you share property lines, especially near waterways. Ensure clear access to all treatment areas, and make arrangements for pets and children to stay clear during service for safety.

Helpful?

In Norwalk, spotting termite mud tubes or carpenter ant sawdust near your foundation can signal hidden structural damage. Rodent droppings in attics or crawl spaces may indicate insulation or wiring issues. Wasp nests in wall voids can damage insulation and create larger entry points. Persistent pest activity, especially in older homes, often points to underlying moisture or ventilation problems that require prompt attention.
