"Andrew was great on time and personable. He knew what he was doing and even showed me the issues. He fixed what he was able to and advised me on what I need to do next since the next issue was not the plumbing. When I was urgently looking for someone to come fix the leak I had, everyone else was unable to make it the day of. Andrew made it in an hour from speaking with him. I would recommend his services to anyone needing a plumber."

"Bill was amazing! I was so lucky to find him and he solved my lack of heat in my family room that had been plaguing me for three seasons now. Four previous plumbers failed to fix a vapor lock and low pump pressure Android his fresh approach finally solved the issue!!! Thank you. Highly recommended."

"I am waiting to get an answer back. I was told the $99 few would be waived if I proceeded with the repairs and the plumber did the repairs and was still charged the $99 fee. Need an answer if I am getting refunded. Was charged $145."

"We are thrilled with results and have received many compliments on the finish. Their proprietary system of vinyl covered moisture proof wall boards are good looking and superior to drywall. Their floating vinyl flooring and floating carpet tile has to be seen to be believed. Plus a 50 year warranty on the work and materials! . Base 2 man crew were very professional and neat. Plumbing and electrical sub-contractors were obviously responsive to CBS. Salesman was very patient and documented work to be performed. Job planner/supervisor was on site periodically throughout install. Work took less than 1 month to complete once permit was issued."

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

In most cases, yes, homeowners insurance will cover burst pipes, even if they run through your foundation. Not only that, but most home insurance companies will also cover any foundation repair you need done that resulted from the plumbing leak because your insurer will view the leak as an unforeseen and non-preventable issue.

It is okay to use a drain auger on a toilet, just make sure you are using the correct tip size. The auger is a plumbing snake with a protective sleeve to protect the porcelain toilet bowl from getting scratched. Using too large of an auger can cause the snake to loop back and damage the inside of the drain and plumbing.

The type of sealant you use on a leaking pipe will depend on the pipe material and the cause of the leak. PVC P-traps should avoid petroleum-based sealants, which can degrade the plastic and worsen the leak. Pipe sealant is specifically designed for use on pipes, but remember—if your P-trap has a crack–it’s best to replace the pipe to avoid future leaks.

In most cases, a dripping faucet will not stop on its own. Dripping usually occurs because of a failed cartridge or broken washers. Normal wear and tear eventually runs these parts down and causes the faucet to drip when you've already shut off your sink. Replacing the cartridge or washer should fix the problem.

You can choose a few different options for outdoor kitchen sink drainage. You can install a dry well about 10 feet away from your home or patio or install a French drain closer by. You can also drain into your home’s plumbing system, but it is more costly versus using a dry well.
