Mike and Doug were very professional and quick. I had anticipated a much longer fine frame to get so many items installed. They were both friendly and working the entire time they were here. Mike answered all of my questions and gave recommendations when we had our initial quote phone call. I would highly recommend Barrett plumbing and will use in the future for any plumbing concerns that arise.

Mike is an excellent hire for plumbing needs. We hired Mike and his team to replace our boiler, and various leaking pipes. Mike was able to come out for an estimate soon after we called. He is quick to assess and verify our needs, as well as make recommendations based on his expertise. We ultimately went with Mike and his team since his costs were in line with others, and noticed he has great reviews on this site. Mike and his team lived up to the lofty expectations other reviewers provided, and then some. Mike and his team are a well oiled machine, and it's clear they are experts at what they do, When replacing the boiler, as soon as they had my old boiler removed, the new one was delivered. As soon as he had the new boiler installed, he had a certified electrician arrive and ensure it's hooked up appropriately. We had a ventilation system installed as well (boiler room is a tight space), and the electrician ensured that was appropriately hooked up to the boiler as well. I did have one issue, separate from the new boiler installation, that was noticed after the new boiler was installed. Matt was back within an hour to diagnose and had his team come out first thing in the morning to address it, at no additional cost, which was very generous. Suffice it to say we're thrilled with the job Mike and his team did. It's nice to have hot showers again! We have used other plumbers in the past for various smaller needs, but glad we found Mike for this bigger job, and will very likely use him for all plumbing needs moving forward.

I lost hot water this morning. My fuel company told me they wouldn’t be able to get it done for another week. I called him he was there in 15 minutes. He had it fixed within an hour. I would never use anyone else ever. Best price and completely thorough. Can’t say enough about this company!

Mike is Great! First of all the guy calls you back before 5pm the THE DAY YOU CALL. I called around 3pm. Received a call before 5pm. Another plumber called me back 2 days later! Mike got me right on schedule for that week, came over, quickly diagnosed the problem was a cracked pipe and fixed it. I WOULD ABSOLUTELY HIRE HIM AGAIN. Glad to see Some people still hustle and work hard.

I had found Mike Barrett plumbing on Angie's list after needing a plumber for our new home we purchased. I've had Mike, Doug & their apprentice out to fix a couple issues that arise from an older home and I could not have asked for a better professional. Pricing is fair, professionalism is high, and best of all Mike is extremely responsive. Call him and he will get back to you and they show up when they say they will. Mike also stands behind his work and is down to earth/honest and easy to work with. I've recommended him to my parents for work and all jobs have been satisfactory. Hopefully he stays in business for the future because I plan to use him as my plumber until he retires!

The two-man team that came out were both friendly, efficient, and professional. They needed to chase the problem through more than one crack in pipe, but they kept at it, and replaced everything with modern PEX. Fair pricing also!

He did multiple repairs and replacements at the home we were selling in Danbury and went above and beyond with advising us on realistic and budget-friendly repair options. He not only fixed and replaced the items we needed, but also he identified other emergency issues that we weren’t aware of due to living in a different state which saved us from frozen and burst pipes and having to buy a new furnace in our recently remodeled home. Two gentlemen arrived just minutes after the scheduled time. They started work immediately, were courteous, asked us about a preference with regard to the placement of the faucet and completed the job in a short amount of time. They took the old faucet with them. The price was much substantially less than other from other plumbers. They were much more courteous and friendly than the previous plumber I had. I highly recommend these guys.

I am a returning customer. Doug came out with helper and couldn't repair faucet. It was a generic brand and needed replacement. Doug asked if I wanted to go and get a faucet and have them return or if I would like them to go pick one up. His boss was nice enough to pick one up and meet up with Doug. He was back and replaced faucet and workings within the original hour. Now that's what I call great service! Doug is a very skilled plumber and a pleasure to deal with. I will be calling Mike Barrett plumbing for all my plumbing needs.

The Mike Barrett employee (his name was Douglas) arrived on time, was very courteous, and replaced the parts needed to get the toilet functioning properly again. He worked in a very professional manner and being that he did a very good job, I would highly recommend him to anyone that needs a plumber.

Extremely well, as usual. Toilet removed was 20+ years old, which adds complexity. The 2-person team of Barrett Plumbing are amazingly skilled and efficient at whatever we "throw their way." They removed the toilet rather easily, cleaned up what was left behind and installed the new toilet that we had purchased so well and quickly. Amazes us. And, they charge us what they say; no surprises. Great job again, guys!

I cannot say enough good things about Mike Barrett Plumbing. Found on Angie's List in 2014 and the only plumber I go to since. Day before Thanksgiving, leaky hot water heater. Turns out it needs replacement because the leak is threatening its electrical components (top of heater). They recommended for us and found an AO Smith heater that fit (much better than the Sears junk we had been using) and installed it - all within hour's time wed morn and we had a relaxing, wonderful Thanksgiving. Oh, and they also installed a kitchen faucet for us as we had asked and expected before 10AM as well. They are the best!

Very well, Mike answered my call immediately came out within a couple days to give us an estimate and scheduled the work promptly. He is also the only serviceman I have not had to call back within a month.

Doug and Brandon were extremely professional and quick to fix a water pipe, reinstall a difficult pedestal sink and toilet. This is the second time in a month that I have used Doug and Brandon for different projects and I would highly recommend them to anybody. They do great work, always honest and great price.

Great! Doug and his assistant (very sorry -- I forget his name) were right on time, their work was clean and tidy, they got right to it, and knew exactly what they were doing with no equivocating whatsoever. We even thought we needed more work done than actually turned out to be necessary, and Doug explained why we didn't need to go the the added expense. We had done quite a bit of cost estimating before going with Michael Barrett Plumbing, and they were the most reasonable. It is a HUGE RELIEF to find a plumber we can trust, and know that we have someone to call WHENEVER we have a plumbing issue, large or small.

We had several estimates for a boiler. The only estimate that was done by an experienced plumber was Michael Barrett Plumbing. He didn't just write down what we needed and he was very thorough. He even had us measured the baseboards to see how many BTUs we needed. Mike was very knowledgeable what the building inspector required. The other estimates said I needed certain things to pass inspection that wasn't necessary saving me over $1000. Mike was there personally with his crew on time. I was amazed that everything was timed so perfectly. When the old boiler was taken out the new boiler was delivered. When the install was done the electrician came out. After that, someone came out to fire up the new boiler. They were done by 12:30. He followed up to make sure we were happy. The A rating was very well deserved. We are very happy with the work Michael Barrett.

Mike and his team were very courteous and professional. He responded to my phone call quickly, gave me an accurate quote, and was able to schedule the job within 48 hours (it probably would have been even sooner than that, but our setup required a special unit). He completely replaced our water heater, remove the old one, and replaced an unrelated broken faucet in less than 2 hours. They were all very kind and informative about what was being done, and they were careful to protect the flooring when going in and out by laying tarps and/or removing their shoes. I would highly recommend Mike Barrett and his team and will definitely call them for any future needs.
