"Williams & Associates replaced an ancient, very large old boiler in my very large house. Bruce calculated the necessary size and found a suitable boiler. He and his crew thoroughly cleared the radiators and lines before removing the old boiler and installing the new one. They checked all the radiators and added new valves as needed during a lengthy checkout. It took several days to do all the work. Throughout, Bruce explained what they were doing and why as well as recommending changes/additions to the original proposal. They were even cheerful about removing the original "Mary Jane" from the basement. I would definitely recommend them to anyone using steam heat. Great job!"

He suggested full house central air and showed me how it could be done, have ducts i stalled and cost less than a ductless system. His experience of over 20 years as a technician as well gave me a lot of confidence. He made a general proposal and came back in a few days for my convenience and I signed the contract. "Overall experience was professional and very good. Although it took some time to get details nailed down and to get the installation scheduled, once a date was set, the Combustion Mechanical Services team was well coordinated, efficient and worked as cleanly as could be expected considering the job. It should be noted that since our boiler failed in late spring, with no heating requirements we were clear that there was no real rush for the install and that we were flexible. If there is one area where there may be an opportunity for improvement, I would recommend that system head loss calculations for each installation be done routinely by CMS as the original pumps specified for the job could be considered marginal for our application. As a Mechanical Engineer, I would rather pay a little more up front for pumps that are well-suited for the job than risk having a pump fail early (at an inconvenient time) because it does not quite have the power needed to easily do the job. Overall an excellent job with which we are very satisfied. I would highly recommend Combustion Mechanical Services and especially Steve Cole to anyone interested in a high-quality professional job."
