"Incredible job with our backyard masterpiece! Lots of retaining walls, a putting green, pavers, boulders, lighting, and textures that all work incredible together. I am very impressed with how the 3d rendering looks just like the finished product! For any similar project, I would highly recommend them!"

Customers say: Quick response

"The person who came out for the quote saw the issue I have and helped / walked me through what was wrong and what to do to get it fixed. Even though it was not a foundation issue. I thank this company and their employee for doing this. It is truly hard to find honest people now a days. Thanks"

"Frank spent considerable time talking with me and revising my plans to settle on a design that would fit my husband’s and my lifestyle and budget. He was on site every day and communicated frequently about his team’s progress. The work transformed our front yard from a weedy disaster to a clean, modern, and colorful welcome for visitors, who frequently comment on its aesthetic."

"We have been living with a sunken patio and a walkway that slopes the wrong way for years and we finally decided to do something about it. After a lengthy Google, Yelp, BBB and other site searches we solicited bids from four concrete contractors. We selected Legacy. From the initial estimate through final inspection, The owner, Robert, and the crew were fantastic. Our situation was a difficult one, and no other contractor could develop and execute a creative solution that addressed all of our many issues. Jacob and the work crew were great to work with, kept us informed throughout, and really produced a wonderful result. Legacy was not the lowest bid, but was by far the best design to do the job. We can’t recommend this family business highly enough."

"I am recommending inspector Lucas and Groundworks for the work they DIDN'T perform! They came out and did a complete inspection and told me the crack in my foundation wall does not need repairing unless it progresses further. One of my fears in hiring a company off Anti without a personal recommendation and about a topic I'm not familiar with (foundations) is that they might try to tell me I needed repairs when I didn't need them. Lucas was honest, professional, thorough, respectful, and I felt safe around him. Great communication. Texting to set appointment. Texting by both the company and inspector for reminders, when they were on the way, when the arrived."

"Miguel was great to work with! From the beginning, he contacted me and showed up on time for the consultation, had a positive, can-do attitude throughout, kept me well-informed and took pride in his work. He went out of his way to find the exact plants I wanted between the flagstones. I m very happy with the results. Definitely recommend!"

Masonry questions, answered by experts

If you want to make your home eco-friendly, enjoy low maintenance, and love the fact that its looks will take people’s breath away (and not because they were trying to blow your house down), then a modern brick home is right for you. You can hire a mason to get the building process started for your brick home.

But if you’re not fond of the color and don’t want to deal with the process of repointing or other repairs, consider going with vinyl or wood. These materials offer a lower cost. While they tend to require more maintenance, they don’t cost nearly the same as exterior brick house repair.

Yes, as long as the cut is clean and the brick remains structurally sound, you can reuse it. Reusing brick is especially common for landscaping, edging, and small masonry repairs. Just make sure to file down any sharp edges before handling or installing it.

They offer durability, aesthetic appeal, and resistance to weathering compared to concrete or asphalt.

Yes, you can cut patio stones with a circular saw. Similar to using an electric grinder, you will need to use a diamond blade as this is the most effective blade for cutting a material like stone. The stone must be wet when using a circular saw to ensure the cut is smooth.

It is possible, albeit a lot slower, to break up a rock using water. You would do this by freezing and thawing the water. You could create some initial holes or cracks in the rock, then pour water into the cracks or holes and allow them to freeze (so it's best to do this in winter or in colder climates). Since water expands when it freezes, this puts pressure on the inside of the rock and causes it to crack. You could continue to pour more water in and let it freeze to continue to break up the rock.
