NewHaus Construction is a family owned business which has been serving Southern California since 1995. Specializing in Roofing and Home Remodeling.
"Newhaus sent out Sam to assess my roofing problem and recommended that 210 square feet of underlayment be replaced. The concrete tiles are in excellent shape and can be reused. I agreed with his recommendation even though it might have been a little more than was required, but better safe than sorry. The problem arose when he verbally quoted over $5,000 for the job. That equates to over $23 per square foot for a job that should cost no more than $7 per square foot. I told him to not even bother writing up a formal quote. I believe they have a minimum job price of $5,000 and then lie and back into this minimum amount. If they were up front and said they had a minimum, I would not have wasted my time and told them not to come to my house. But they lied and tried to treat me like I'm ignorant with their ridiculous quote. AVOID THESE CROOKS!"

"In taking over a big project for my mothers property repairs I interviewed 3 contractors for the job. All contractors mentioned we needed a specialist for a proper quote and was charged a fee. Because the Liebo project manager said he could have a specialist over within 30 minutes of our initial appointment I thought “this sounds like an efficient company” and so I agreed to the $500 fee. Sure enough someone was there within 30 mins. I was told I’d have a quote by end of day on that same Friday but didn’t hear from anyone. I texted the project manager the next day and he said he’d have a quote for me ASAP. Never heard back from him. By this point I already had the other quotes and I was certain I did not want to work with Liebo considering their lack of communication. I emailed Liebo Thursday afternoon requesting a refund for the quote considering I didn’t receive what was promised and paid for, the owner replied a day later stating he could not issue a refund because he already paid for a specialist to come to our home. I understand the fee, but this company failed to communicate with me and provide the quote that was promised. (Note: I did get the quote after Mr. Liebo refused to issue a refund, making it a full week to get and without any type of communication in between). Mr Liebo used the excuse that someone came out, but failed to take accountability…leaving the $500 responsibility to me. I paid $500 to learn Liebo is not a company I want to work with considering they do not communicate and use excuses"
