The service was really great. They were very trustworthy and the price is reasonable.

The technicians were professional and courteous. The installation was completed 12/24/2019 and continues to be functioning very well. The total price of the 40K + Btui Up Flow Furnace was $5500.00. We had one previous offer that was much higher.

Experience was pretty good.

They really did everything they said they were going to do and in a very timely manner. As well based on having to work around other companies that were also involved in this project. I want to also mention how great Sarah was with all the coordinating. overall a great experience, actually better than great!!

He was dishonest and I felt he was trying to take advantage of a vulnerable situation. He told me I needed to replace the unit, said I would need to spend at least $1,700 when all that was needed was to have the water cleaned out and the system rebooted.

I HIGHLY recommend GQ Heating and Air for multiple reasons. They are not the cheapest, nor the most expensive, but I knew they would do the best job. How did I know? 1. In addition to recommendation by Angie's list, the Better Business Bureau gives them an A+ rating. According to the Better Business Bureau, GQ Heating and Air has been in business for 11 years. 2. GQ Heating and Air did not tell me, as some contractors did, that I did not need to file a city permit. While the city permit did cost an extra $380.51, my taxes are not affected (it is a replacement of my current air conditioner and heating unit, not an upgrade of my property) and I gained a third party oversight of all construction. 3. The GQ Heating and Air Conditioning proposal included a Home Energy Rating System (HERS) state inspection. HERS is a state program developed to address poor construction quality and equipment installation. 4. When GQ Heating and Air inspected my site to give me a proposal, I was asked if anyone else had noticed that some of the heating unit wiring insulation had melted. I answered “no” because GQ Heating and Air was the only contractor to notice that I was in imminent danger of a fire! _________ As anticipated, the craftsmanship was stellar! Not only was GQ prompt, efficient, and fastidiously clean, but they went the extra mile which wasn’t stipulated in the contract. They strapped my ductwork to the roof, clearing the attic floor area. BEAUTIFUL CRAFTSMANSHIP!!!

Our heating fan went out late at night, and the next day was New Year's Eve. We were worried that we wouldn't get somebody out on a holiday on such short notice. Mike arrived on time and diagnosed our problem quickly. He changed a bad motor starter, cleaned up the work site, and was gone. He was professional and pleasant.

James Winter called me while I was still entering information into Angie's List. The cost to repair which included replacement of 2 parts was $600. I paid in full with a Visa card. The actual Technician time spent was approximately 45 minutes plus travel time. The AC unit repair was successful. After Jay left, I did some research on the parts replaced. The online prices for the parts were between $49 <-> 58 (Starter Kit) and $12 <-> 25 (Capacitor) respectively. I sent 2 emails asking them if they could refund me any of the labor costs as I felt that over $500 for the felt the diagnosis and repair was extremely overpriced. No response to date.

Showed up on time. Very clean. Responsive to questions. Had to dodge tree trimmers that were working in complex at same time. I would hire again. Ray and Jay were helpful and offered ideas and suggestions to help with replacement of unit.

Very timely and efficient.  Sam and James helped me set up all this work.  Knowledgeable and helpful with pricing.  And,  no, a new system would not have costed less.  Great supervision of workers with checks and rechecks. Superior.

FABULOUS...A GENTLEMAN NAMED STEVE CAME AND ASSESSED THE TROUBLE WITH THE UNIT FIXED IT AFTER THREE OTHER COMPANIES HAD COME OUT AND NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIX IT. I WAS SO HAPPY. THIS WILL BE MY GO TO COMPANY FORM NOW ON
