It is very unfortunate that Arthur Ruiz Paz (The Peaceful Handyman) does not have an active contractors license or insurance of any kind. The job was to sand and paint three sets of gates, he was supplied photos of the gates when he gave his quote for the project to hand paint the gates by brush. Without approval he returned with a paint sprayer from Harbor Freight. After what happened, he was honest that he had never used a sprayer before and his plan was to return it to Harbor Freight after the job. Mr. Paz was honest that he was "in a rush", assembled the sprayer wrong and did not install a flow pin or the filter. He turned it on high (as he said to save time) and blew black paint 25 feet past the gates. He "painted" the driveway, 100 year old vintage brick on the posts and plants in the landscape, the lighting fixtures and just about anything else in his path. Right now the cleanup and restoration is almost $9,000.00. Again, Mr. Paz has said "just take me to court".

We had a problem with our patio door after all the rains. Basically, water was seeping in and we needed a full replacement. Arthur was very responsive to all our messages and got the job done! He was really helpful in answering all our questions and and helped us select a door that fit our budget as well as our style. Also, Arthur has really clean work and a good attention to detail. He not only replaced the door, but he made it look way nicer than it was originally. He also made sure to check in with us throughout the entire project, which I really appreciate. I highly recommend!

Extremely Disappointing Experience with Unprofessional Handyman. Firstly, his communication skills were severely lacking. It was incredibly frustrating trying to get in touch with him as our door did not closed properly and can’t be locked from the outside. As it’s unsafe for my family and needed to be fix. We scheduled for another day and he did not show up at the time he was scheduled. He then rendered his service and wanted be paid in full. As a handyman, I hope that he has all his tools and equipments knowing the jobs he was hired to do. I had to hire another contractor to complete his unfinished work which he completed in a timely manner. I would strongly advise against hiring Arthur for any future projects. Non licensed contractor, incompetence and unreliability make him a poor choice for anyone seeking quality workmanship and professionalism.

It went spectacular, just spectacular! Arthur Paz is that rare individual that promises excellent work and delivers! He replaced a pane in my french doors, sanded them and repainted them so they would match. He also fixed the sag by replacing hinges, adding wood screws that elevated them so they hung evenly and finished with new sweeps at the bottom. All included in the price he gave with no surprises. He touched up an additional door on my deck and adjusted the estimate after completion the addition work. If ANYONE NEEDS A MORE THAN your usual run of the mill handyman, but a true professional, Arthur Paz is the person to call. Trash was spread throughout yard. Artificial grass they pulled up, they left covered under dirt and not relaid, grass is all stained with mud even after I cleaned it and I have to replace it. Pavers they relaid after removal are uneven not level and some are already sinking. Multiple pavers weren’t relaid in location and misplaced around the yard. Bar are has stones knocked off and missing. I have to buy more and fix.
