Our small house, built in 1948, is excellently located, but all of the windows were outdated louver windows, which were drafty, allowed external noise to enter, and caused our heating and cooling to escape. We had wanted to replace them for years; however, previous quotes from other companies were well beyond what we could afford. We decided to try again this year and requested a quote from Smart Window Company. David Winkler promptly contacted us on January 18, 2025, and arranged a Virtual Consultation via Zoom for the following day as this was most convenient for us. During the meeting, he spent nearly two hours understanding our specific requirements and exploring available options, providing a detailed explanation regarding the custom replacement windows. He demonstrated professionalism and was approachable throughout the interaction. On January 20, we received our initial quote for replacing 11 windows with 10 new ones, as we opted to merge two old windows into a larger picture window in the master bedroom. All windows included a lifetime guarantee. Although another company provided a significantly lower quote without any guarantee, David diligently worked to adjust the price until it was comparable to the lower quote. Consequently, we signed the contract with Smart Window Company on January 28. The Installation Manager, Tom, visited on February 3 to verify the final measurements for the windows. He professionally explained the installation process and advised us on preparations. On February 8, he informed us via email that our project had been ordered, with delivery expected in 6 to 8 weeks. The windows arrived ahead of schedule, and we scheduled the installation for March 3. On the installation day, the three-man crew led by Bryan, the Crew Leader, arrived promptly at the appointment time. Bryan communicated effortlessly in perfect English with us, and in Spanish with Byron and the rest of the crew. He remeasured everything and verified each window's size. Unfortunately, one window had incorrect dimensions due to a manufacturing error. Nevertheless, the team proceeded efficiently and meticulously, removing the old louvers and installing the replacements within four hours. Bryan assured us that the correct-sized window would be expedited from the manufacturer. The job site was left clean and tidy both inside and outside. Today, on March 19, Peter, the Job Foreman, installed the remaining window, completing the task in less than an hour. We are extremely satisfied with the fantastic customer service, the excellent quality of the product and the workmanship and the overall dedication to customer satisfaction provided by the entire staff at Smart Window Company. We highly recommend them to anyone in need of quality windows at a reasonable price.

I needed additional windows installed in my home, and because I had worked with several of the employees that were with a previous company, I contacted them again. As before, I was not disappointed. The window style and quality was just as described. The installers arrived promptly, actually a little bit before, at the scheduled time. They worked efficiently to get the windows installed in a timely manner, about four hours. The gentleman that was in charge answered ALL of my questions, and I had several, and the workers were careful not to damage any furniture or floors in my home. I have recommended them in the past, and would DEFINITELY recommend them in the future. I am EXTREMELY happy with my window purchase and their installation.

The process was perfect. Spoke to representative by zoom, learned all about windows and how they will be made to fit perfectly. They sent someone to measure them. Due to pandemic they took more time than usual to be completed. But once completed, they called and we set an installation date. Two men came, moved furniture, put in windows, went and got touch up paint for outside (small area) and painted what was needed. Inside they put blinds back and all furniture. The windows are perfect, the fit is perfect. We are very happy with the product and the workmanship and their staff.

The zoom/video presentation of the company and the product they offered was professional, impressive, customer focused and clear to the layman. All of our questions were answered, absolutely no hard sell and our time was respected. The in person measurement of window dimensions was coordinated and accomplished efficiently. The installation team was also professional and efficient. They took care to do a quality job including making sure everything functioned like they were supposed to and looked good including replacing everything they moved to do their job and cleaning up the area after they finished each day. We vetted other companies before settling on Smart Windows and believe we made the right choice for our windows/sliding door need especially after seeing and experiencing the new windows/door!

I could not be more happier with my choice to use Smart Window Company. I built an ADU on my property and needed windows and 2 huge sliding glass doors. I received a bid from another company and found these guys on yelp and called on a Friday evening to get a second bid and I'm so glad I did! Not only were they less expensive their windows were better, had more design choices and they came up with a great solution that included a transom. After installed it's clear these doors are the highlight of the space! From the beginning of the process through installation they were flawless. Not only did I not give them enough time but I ordered a window incorrectly and they fixed it for me with no questions. During this process I worked with several vendors and hands down these guys were the best.

It went extremely well. They were very responsive to my needs and the windows are top notch! What I really liked on my sliding glass doors is that you have a keyed entry from the outside. I’ve never seen sliding glass doors with a keyed entry! When I called or sent emails with questions, their response was immediate. Thank you Smart Windows!

Super happy with my new windows! I waited 15 years to do them and with money not spent on vacations because of Covid, renos and upgrades are in need. I came by Smart Windows thru Angie's List and saw their positive reviews but was surprised when I didn't see anything on yelp. So here's the start! Smart Windows was the 3rd or 4th company I requested quotes from. And even though I requested quotes from several many others afterwards, I still had a good feeling about them. With Smart Windows, I inquired thru Angies List, gave them my window dimensions and they reached out to a schedule a zoom call. I spoke with Tony through zoom, and he went thru his spiel (company history, product, FAQs, etc). Even thru zoom, he seemed approachable and easy to talk to. I had lots of questions, and he answered them all. His quote was not necessarily the cheapest but definitely not the highest neither. It was in the range of what I was expecting the windows to be. His timing of a 3-week delivery was an extra bonus too. Unlike a couple of shady companies that wanted an immediate commitment after an initiate quote, Smart Windows quote was good for several weeks. So it gave me time to do my research, get other quotes and make a decision in my own time and no pressure. Smart Window didn't use any shady sales tactics, like offering a discount only if I accepted right away, or using scare tactics. I didn't feel pressured or cornered, and instead felt that I could take my time to do my research and they would still honor the price and discounts they'd offered. One downside was that their quick delivery time of 3 weeks was actually delayed a couple of times to 5-6weeks which is what other companies actually quoted on timing. This impacted other home improvements we were doing, but it all worked out. They sent over a digital quote, which we later signed off on. And then scheduled an appointment with Tom to come take more accurate measurements. So come the day of installation, for 5 windows it was a 2 person job. They arrived in a timely manner and as previously communicated. We had moved the furniture ourselves and laid out plastic dropsheets for them in areas they'd walk around. They said they'd help with furniture moving, but we figured we help to get the job done more quickly and wanted to ensure minimal dust and unnecessary touch points. Tom, the main installer and his partner wore masks the whole time, which we greatly appreciate. Their work was thorough and efficient. They added their own dropsheets in the various workspace for extra protection. They cleaned up the workspaces both in and outside. The windows are just sooooo nice and fresh that now I wish we did the rest of the house, even tho we don't need to. Thank you Tony, Tom and team! I love my windows!!!

I was searching Google for a window contractor and clicked on Smart Window Company. I'm so glad I did. I got a few other quotes besides theirs, but the price was lowest from SWC after comparing all the features. There are a ton of upgrades that SWC gives you for free. Def glad I went with these guys!
