In taking over a big project for my mothers property repairs I interviewed 3 contractors for the job. All contractors mentioned we needed a specialist for a proper quote and was charged a fee. Because the Liebo project manager said he could have a specialist over within 30 minutes of our initial appointment I thought “this sounds like an efficient company” and so I agreed to the $500 fee. Sure enough someone was there within 30 mins. I was told I’d have a quote by end of day on that same Friday but didn’t hear from anyone. I texted the project manager the next day and he said he’d have a quote for me ASAP. Never heard back from him. By this point I already had the other quotes and I was certain I did not want to work with Liebo considering their lack of communication. I emailed Liebo Thursday afternoon requesting a refund for the quote considering I didn’t receive what was promised and paid for, the owner replied a day later stating he could not issue a refund because he already paid for a specialist to come to our home. I understand the fee, but this company failed to communicate with me and provide the quote that was promised. (Note: I did get the quote after Mr. Liebo refused to issue a refund, making it a full week to get and without any type of communication in between). Mr Liebo used the excuse that someone came out, but failed to take accountability…leaving the $500 responsibility to me. I paid $500 to learn Liebo is not a company I want to work with considering they do not communicate and use excuses

#DONOTUSELIEBOBUILDERS I am an unhappy customer of the work and service performed by LIEBO BUILDERS, its Project Manager and their workers. We all know that there will be issues when hiring a contracted service, yet when you have multiple issues and poor Project Management of the job, the satisfaction level drops tremendously as it did with LIEBO BUILDERS and their assigned Project Manager (to be discreet I’ll just give his initials GS). If you want a project that has multiple delays without explanation or apology LIEBO BUILDERS is for you. If you want gaps in quality workmanship LIEBO BUIDERS is for you. If you want a Project Manager who appears to be in training and doesn’t have answers LIEBO BUILDERS is for you. If you want a job that you have to manage yourself because they don’t, LIEBO BUILDERS is for you. If you want to lose personal items LIEBO BUILDERS is for you. If you want the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing type of communication then pick LIEBO BUILDERS and they will deliver. At the signing of the contract GS promised that LIEBO BUILDERS was an “all in one” company who did not subcontract work so it was seamlessly managed by them. NOT Sounds good for the sell yet the delivery did not meet the promise. And the service just kept getting worse. But if you want a home project to be done as specified and managed properly so you know the value of your dollar, DO NOT pick LIEBO BUILDERS. When the contract specifies “Complete Demo”….IT’S NOT!!!!!! And the explanation just smoothes you over until the next failure. BUYER BEWARE. When you’re told a worker will be there at 3PM…plan to sit around until they finally arrive at 5PM. Poor management of workers. When you stay home missing a day at work because GS told you a worker would be there between 9-11AM….forget about it…you’re home alone with NO WORK AND NO CONTACT from GS or LIEBO BUILDERS about why the worker never showed up. And this will happen more than once. Even LIEBO BUILDERS Project Manager GS told me his biggest challenge is managing the workers. At least he got something right. When the workers remove an item that was not part of the job….and suddenly it disappears and you ask about it multiple times….you won’t get any confirmation for weeks before they admit they took the item and then weeks later try to resolve the issue. And only after you keep asking LIEBO BUILDERS Project Manager (GS) about it will you finally get an admission they are responsible. This is where the phrase “too little too late” comes in. YOU GET LESS THAN WHAT YOU PAID FOR Since you pay for the installed items, such as tiles, fixtures, toilet and sink, you won’t be able to register them for warranty because LIEBO BUILDERS discards all the paperwork without any consideration for you. Good luck with future service issues and be prepared to pay repairs out of pocket. BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE When their “design team” provides specs for the job and the workers do their own thing that doesn’t match the design…then you’ve had it and have to take control of the project yourself (unlike GS) and document and hold the poor performing Project Manager accountable. Yet that took even more work for me than for those I was paying. In full disclosure equipment on my end added a delay of 3 days. Nothing compared to the no-shows and issues of LIEBO BUILDERS. That’s my story and from my perspective LIEBO BUILDERS should pay me for managing this project just so it could get done after delayed weeks and weeks of issues beyond the timeframe they promised. Yet I spend extra money reodering tile that was not needed, and several of my calls for service recovery were not addressed with accountability on the behalf of GS or LIEBO BUILDERS management. The immature and inattentive care done to my project have led to this scathing review. My review of this work should come as no surprise to LIEBO BUILDERS as I told GS that his late stage apology was not enough and that the “shiny new outcome” of the work did not make me forget the poor service of him and the quality of workmanship that I could have done myself. #DONOTUSELIEBOBUILDERS

We were referred to Liebo Builders by a trusted friend, and chose to use them for our big kitchen remodel. The whole team was highly professional, very prompt, resourceful, and efficient. Overall we could not be happier with the end product. We love our new kitchen and it is honestly better than I thought it would be. They really know what they are doing. They are also just great people that were fun to talk to. From the very beginning and throughout the whole process, Joe was very easy to work with, super accommodating, and it should be said, rather patient. Joe and his team finish the job on time. This was a big job. Joe managed all the permits and I was impressed with how they passed each inspection smoothly. Thanks so much for all the hard work! We will be contacting Liebo Builders in the future when we tackle remodeling our two bathrooms. I've already recommended Liebo Builders to others looking for a dependable contractor who delivers quality work on time.

Liebo Builders did an excellent job with my kitchen and bath project. I am so happy with the results. They were on schedule and the work was very detailed. Ilya helped me during the process and had many great ideas. I couldn't be happier with how everything worked and how my brand new kitchen and bath are looking. Also very good prices! We chose Liebo Builders to remodel our master bathroom after considering other options when dealing with a water leak issue in a rental property of ours. Liebo Builders helped us stay within our desired budget, and was great about suggesting products when we weren't certain about what we wanted. They stayed on schedule, and were very responsive to changes, question/concerns that we had during the process. We couldn't be happier with the results.

Rubin did our master bath and guest bathroom of our home. My wife and I are expecting a child in October and we wanted to redo our bathrooms before the baby is born. Rubin went beyond what we expected. Even though he had 3-4 other projects along with ours, he made it seem like we were the only ones. Rubin pays attention to details, very knowledgeable, and does not cut corners like some contractors do. He was present when picking tile, granite, and glass. I must admit he suggested a dark metallic floor tile which I resisted because I didn't think it would look good in the bathrooms. Boy was I wrong. I'm so glad we trusted his advise because the floors are my favorite part of the bathroom now. We would definitely use Rubin again with his rates and quality work.

My mom was in the need for new windows. We just had 8 new windows installed through Liebo Builders to replace the outdated, screechy ones we had before. Joe was unable to be there for the consultation, so I had to make myself available. The staff was very personable and professional to meet our needs and price range. It was clear they knew what they were talking about, and made some great recommendations. The windows installed in a very efficient manner, and they came out looking fantastic. Now I don't have to listen to my mom complain about it being cold in the house or calling our old windows ugly and unappealing (this was a common occurrence). Overall it was a very pleasant experience from start to finish, and I would highly recommend!

I had a great experience with Liebo Builders from the time I received an estimate from Rubin up until the day the job was completed. I had a main roof and three small roofs that needed to be replaced. If I had any questions before the job was done or completed Rubin always got back with me by phone or text. I have to say the crew was amazing they worked so hard and they were so considerate they cleaned up the property to my satisfaction, so happy with my new roof and the cost. We worked with Liebo Builders to completely redo our bathroom from the ground up. While renovation is always stressful, Rubin and his team were fantastic to work with from beginning to end. During the initial estimate, Rubin was very clear about the process, what to expect, and when to expect it. Throughout construction, Ilya and his crew were courteous, worked quickly, and did a fantastic job all around! And Rubin was on site every day checking on the work and easy to get hold of when we had questions. We highly recommend Liebo Builders and hope to work with them again on future projects!

I had 3 other contractors come out and give me an estimate on my kitchen and Joe gave me a middle range bid. I told him right off the bat that I was going to scrutinize his work, since my family from out of state were contractors, I'm so glad that i hired him. Joe from very good work, his team was very accommodating. My family and I felt really comfortable with Joe and his crew. He explained everything about the job, so there weren't any surprises. There were occasions where I had appointments I had to deal with and his team was very accommodating and trustworthy. 10 stars for this guy and his team and I would hire him again.

I was startled to see some water damage in my upstairs bathroom and discovered a small leak in my roof during a heavy rain storm. I called up Ilya and he came by my home 2 hours later on his way home. He saw the leak and promised a repair the next day if the weather cooperated. Today his crew showed up mid-morning and quickly patched the roof and found a few other roof areas needing attention. Fast, professional and friendly. Ilya is as genuine as you can get. He's responsive, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. No one likes a leaking roof as it can wreak havoc in your house and he quick and professional response was fantastic.

We contracted with Liebo Builders to replace the flat rubber roof on our condo, and they did a fantastic job all around. They were extremely responsive and communicative throughout the whole process. Unlike other contractors, Liebo Builders leverages technologies like drones and satellites to map the size of the roof instead of traditional measurements. We were able to finalize the contract, check references, and start the roofing work within one week based on their fair assessment and responsiveness. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a responsive and reliable contractor in this space.

I was looking for a window repair person , I looked on Angie's List and read these reviews, I was amazed to see Liebo Builders, I thought can this be possible that all these people are giving 5 star reviews. Well, I called and left a message and shortly after Joe returned my call, he was friendly and polite. He said he would come the next day. I have never been so impressed with a repair person until I met Joe. Like I said before he was very friendly and polite, not only that but Joe knows his business. He went out if his way to help me, he wouldn't let me even lift a finger to move anything he not only did but he also put the things back in place. I would highly recommend Joe of Liebo Builders. Joe I thank you again for your kindness and expertise and I will highly, highly recommend you. To everybody if you need a window/ door repairs don't look any further call Joe of Liebo Builders you won't be sorry just very well pleased.

Can't recommend 1daywall enough. From the beginning, Ilya was very communicative and answered my thousand questions in a timely manner. The construction of the wall was amazing - they arrived 15 minutes early and were finished in 5 hours (even with us on a 5th floor walk up). Every worker wore a mask the entire time even though I told them they could take them off as long as we weren't in the room. They were courteous and so efficient. We got several extras - seamless finish, soundproofing, custom paint and a french door. It turned out better than we imagined - we are very pleased. It's a wonderful new room for our condo, and we couldn't be happier.

After reading reviews about Liebo Builders works here on Angie's List, I decided to get a quote from him. He came with his ladder in hand the next day, first thing in the morning. He didn't give me any estimation until he actually measured the size of my roof. Believe me, other contractors never brought their ladders and never put their tape measures around my roof, nor they took a look at the rear side of my roof. So, I started to make myself convinced. He suggested several options that suit my house, and even kindly gave me some helpful tips about how to fix the water-damaged ceiling INSIDE the house. We had a great communication via emails and phones, the paperwork was very thorough, and the cost very reasonable. On the day of work, Joe came with five other workers and started to work as early as nine in the morning. They removed my old roof completely and changed rotten base ply boards without any extra fees. My house looked like a newly built one when they finished the job, and much to my surprise, they finished their work in just a day! Although it was a really hot day over 90 degrees, they never complained, were always smiling, and seemed to enjoy what they were doing. I was a little worried about roof wastes around my house, but they cleaned everything before they left. No wastes, no nails, no nothing! I love their professional attitude and skills, as well as excellent communication. I would recommend Liebo Builders for your roof works with a heart beat.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of working with Joe and his team on the remodel of our guest bathroom. This was a small project compared to the many others Liebo Builders is completing, but we never once felt like we received any less attention. From the beginning, we emphasized to Joe the importance of completing the project as quickly as possible (it is our primary bathroom for our two young kids) and he took it to heart, finishing the project on time and on budget in a quick three weeks. Joe went out of his way to accommodate us: starting the project the week we were on vacation to minimize the disruption, building an airtight plastic hallway to contain the dust from demolition, picking up the building materials and finishes we ordered from around Los Angeles, etc. Joe was beyond responsive, answering text messages and emails with phone calls - often within minutes. Whenever any unexpected issues arose, Joe resolved them quickly and professionally. We remodeled our house a few years ago and had a bad experience with the general contractor; Joe restored our faith in GCs and we couldn't be happier with the final result.

We had a complete roof replacement all the way down to the studs for our 50 year old home. Liebo Builders was competitive and delivered exactly what we asked for. Most importantly, they worked through many small details with us to make sure we were happy. We were very particular clients, and they delivered. Sebastián was a professional from the start. The itemized estimate was easy to follow. Sebastián was up front with all cost and clearly stated all the work that would be done during the renovation. Sebastián consulted with us during the renovation to ensure we would be happy with the end result. Through out the renovation Sebastián and his crew were pleasant and professional. The bathroom renovation came out great. There was a small leak from the shower door and Sebastián came out the next day to fix it immediately. I'm very happy with the way the bathroom came out. Sebastián and his guys were great. I would definitely recommend them.

I hired Liebo Builders to do a complete renovation of my apartment (bathrooms, closets, bedrooms etc...). Rubin and Ilya took extremely good care of me and my project. They were always available, responsive, and their work was top notch. The level of work and service I received from them was great. In addition to being available and responsive, they were also honest in what could and what could not be done, and their pricing was absolutely fair. I will definitely hire them again if I ever have to renovate another place again, and I highly recommend them.

We used Liebo Builders to do a complete gut and remodel of our master bath. The work involved was very extensive including gutting the entire room down to the studs and floor joists, moving the toilet from one side of the room to the other, removing an old cast iron tub and replacing it with a new one, make shower bigger, installing all new fixtures, flooring with radiant heat, insulation, new tile, shower glass, additional sink plumbing for a double vanity. The price they quoted for the labor was reasonable as well as the timeline for the project. We also recently had a baby and the workers were absolutely accommodating to try to make the project as fast, clean, and quiet as possible. On top of all that they did outstanding work. As I observed the progress throughout the project I was amazed at how precise and thorough they were, not taking any shortcuts, and doing it the right way while listening to my requests and making suggestions when needed. We now have a fully updated bath that I know will provide my family many years of service. Could not recommend them enough.!!

I had such a positive experience with Liebo Builders. I was referred to them when I needed to have my new apartment's extremely outdated bathroom and kitchen remodeled. They took their time to ensure I understood what the work would entail and provided me with options that were best suited for me. The guys were punctual and meticulous with their work. Even my dad, a retired handyman, was impressed and is planning to have them remodel my parent's kitchen in the spring. Overall, the Liebo Builders is very knowledgeable, reliable (very important), and professional. I will be referring them to all my friends and real estate clients in need of remodeling work.

Rubin was honest from the beginning which I loved and identified where the leak was coming from immediately. He never tried to sell me anything that I was not in need of. They installed new roofs at 2 of my rental properties and always went above and beyond in doing more than what was expected. Thank you Liebo Builders for being a real landlord advisor as I was replacing both roofs. Their foresight and comprehension saved me a lot of money down the road.

Liebo Builders replaced our roof last year and we are very happy with their work. They had a good selection of composition shingles to choose from and a very good price. They were very pleasant to deal with, did the work timely and as promised and cleaned up nicely afterward. I would definitely use them again.

We hired Sebastián and his team for a long overdue bathroom remodel. He had creative ideas to problem solve and helped design the best use of our space.
