Khalil was an outstanding project manager - always communicating what was going to get done by when and they moved very quickly. Khalil was not going to be happy unless we were thrilled and he delivered! Khalil also had to contend with a simultaneous project that we had going on in the same space of an ADU renovation - and he was very accommodating and communicative during the process to help it all go smoothly. The guys doing the masonry work were fantastic - taking the care to do perfect work on a project that required laying a lot of stone tile on the patio and around the pool. Summary: Aqua Concepts rebuilt most of my pool (70-year-old, 20’x40’, 9’ deep maindrain, rectangular pool) from the rebar on up, replastered the pool, added new steps, pressure tested my maindrain, installed a split maindrain, and recommended a pool Startup party that I am very happy with. Time Frame: May-June 2021 (COVID time) Issues\Complaints: None My AquaConcepts contact: Chris was always available to answer my questions whether by text, phone call, or in-person visit. He did so in a timely manner. He also suggested alternate approaches and ideas that could be implemented during the rebuild. Very helpful. Background: Initially I planned only to replaster the pool. The surface looked OK except for a few “red spots” in the shallow end. Those spots turned out to be rusted rebar that had penetrated the plaster! This finding changed the entire nature of the job. AquaConcepts dug several “windows” into the plaster and it was evident that rust was widespread. To affect a reasonable rebuild price, they built a new rebar shell (say 6” above the old one), covered both rebar frames with shotcrete (at 3500 psi), bead blasted my existing tile (came out pretty good looking) and all this for half the price of a new pool (new pool of this size: 80-90k.) They also built the rebar shell for the new steps. (As I’m retired, I watched every step of the rebuild closely, asked lots of questions, and enjoyed the process)."

From the first visit with the sales person to the last people who did the installation we found them to be true to their word and

extremely capable , trustworthy and true to their word.  The Job was completed in

"As soon as the contract was signed, Rick scheduled the work quickly. He came with his workers and remeasured everything. We discussed the design and he gave me some catalogues to look at designs. I selected a combination of two designs. Rick and I discussed the finish on the railings and I selected black. The railings were installed. There were a total of three different steps, each different from one another. The railings in the front of the house needed to curve with the conture of the steps. One other was just a straight forward design which was straight. The final set went in an area where I plant my vegetables. The railing needed to be spaced so I could still have access to work in the garden yet allow safety on some very steep steps.The work was completed within a few days after starting. When the final coat of paint was finished I was not completely satisfied with the finish. Rick came to inspect the work and was not satisfied either. He sent the painters back to sand and repaint all the railings. He suggested instead of the black an antique bronze might be a better choice for color. He was right. I was very pleased with the final paint.
Rick has completed several projects for me and I have been very satisfied with all the work. 
I will call him again when I am ready for my next project.

7/13/15:  I have worked out an arrangement with the company and at this point harbor no ill will towards them.

While we had multiple issues with ESI (not showing when scheduled, workers drinking alcohol on the job, substandard work which had to be redone), when the remodel was completed we thought we had a pretty nice looking kitchen.  Then, as months passed, we started noticing a lot of grease spots accumulating on the cabinet above the microwave.  When we hired another contractor for a bathroom remodel, we asked him to take a look at this cabinet issue.  He found that the ventilation kit had not been attached to the microwave nor to the air ducting of the house so the grease had no where to go.  Additionally, our contractor found the following issues from the ESI remodel:

*romax sticking out of the wall going directly into the bottom of a cabinet into a non-gain box

*electrical socket behind dishwasher was non GFI protected and had no cover plate so exposed to water

*4 GFI's, way to many for our kitchen area, were tied into one line.

Bottom line:  our contractor said the work had created a major safety issue which could result in a fire or electrocution.
