"Do not be fooled by the positive reviews. It’s evident they are paying for reviews or having their buddies create fake ones. We had a lackluster experience with Haven Hub. I’m giving them two stars bc the job eventually got done, but I wouldn’t recommend them. Poor communication, project manager changes with no notice, and unprofessionalism made the process frustrating. (I have an endless list of things that went wrong but only 1000 words.) Contractors tried to upsell us under the table for work already in our contract, and the concrete wasn’t poured to spec. Crews didn’t show up for weeks; they left a dirt pile that got us warning from the city. Sprinklers in the park strip were initially promised by the salesman, then left out of his poor drawing. Even when we scheduled a final wrap-up date, they didn’t show. The park strip was never finished, despite many promises to do so. We signed March 5 and didn’t finish until May 29 — nearly three months when it should’ve taken weeks"

His experience in design suggested minor adjustment of my idea/drawings but willing to landscape any way of my preferences. His contract was thoroughly itemized and didn’t add any additional “surprise” costs. Payments were installments as project progressed. Hardworking Crew stayed on expected timeline. Hutch came by every day to supervise progress of our landscaping. Our front and backyards were transformed from weed fields into beautiful landscaping. Removed weeds and unwanted plants, prepped surface, laid weed barrier and installed Artificial turf in backyard, laid pavers and stone walkway. Transformed front yard into rock riverbed surrounded by plants accented with boulders, and installing drip system. Planted border shrubs and a rose garden. Lined walkway and rose garden with pavers matching our flagstone. Our sewer line needed realignment which Hutch arranged to be repaired. Other company estimate quotes were either vague, didn’t itemize, or way over priced. "On August 15, 2022 Johnny came over to spray the front yard with Roundup a weed killer. On August 22th He and his worker came with a weed/grass removal machine and removed 3" of grass. He then put a fabric lawn cover over the top of the dirt and hauled away the debris. He said it was an industrial strength lawn cover. I don't believe that is true because the weeds came through the fabric as the photos will show. On December 14, 2022 I contacted him via text and a photo asking him what happened? I didn't expect 4 months later the front yard would be full of weeds. I contacted him again on December 16 with more photos and asked him what he was planning to do. I never heard from him. Before hiring his company I asked him if he guaranteed his work and he assured me he did. Unfortunately, I didn't get a contract nor an invoice which I asked for but didn't receive."
