"Chris is an excellent craftsman. He's punctual, professional, engaging, and knowledgeable. He asked a very fair price and did a superior job repairing the badly deteriorating marble tile in our shower. He made it look new again. We loved him. We recommend his company highly."

"R & R Restoration were excellent to work with on all aspects of the project. Our home required some deep cuts into the bones of the house and everything from pressure washing, major stucco repair, to the extensive and detailed prep work laid the foundation for excellence. The quality of paint, craftmanship, use of correct tools, attention to fine details and expectations were met on a timely fashion. Every time, every day it was how R & R Restoration could make our experience better. The job site was cleaned up every day, the guys didn’t leave until all aspects of the day’s work were put in order. Value for my dollar is of utmost importance and R & R Restoration allowed me to experience getting my money’s worth. Los Angeles is a big place with a tremendous number of choices; choosing R & R Restoration was one of the best choices I’ve made in caring for my home. They can be found at https://www.rrhomerenovations.com/. ~Aron and Jo Lasky Santa Clarita, CA"

"

We didn't satisfy his initial service (which I believe was just an accident nothing to do with their quality of service), and contact them again and receive immediate positive response to come back to do the service again.  FIVE STAR service !!! Highly recommended. Reasonable price for the additional sq ft.  We have hired multiple people for different types of service needs for the new house that we just recently move in.  None of them can top Concrete & marble Transformerz's service.

Marble Restoration questions, answered by experts

Engineered stone is known for its durability, lasting 15 to 20 years or longer. Of course, this range assumes high-quality materials and regular maintenance. After a couple of decades, the stone will start showing its age. Watch for discoloration, fading, stains, and burns, but it’s unlikely that engineered stone will experience structural failure.

You most likely purchased a quartz countertop because it won't stain or etch like marble. However, etching can still happen depending on the quality of the quartz and whether it is repeatedly cleaned with harsh chemicals or exposed to acidic spills. Remember, while quartz is more resistant than natural stone, just like Superman when faced with Kryptonite, it is not indestructible.

Engineered stone doesn’t need sealing because it is non-porous. The manufacturing process creates a natural stain resistant to moisture, which also makes it easy to clean.

You should always seal cut countertops to prevent damage and to keep them looking their best. The right way to seal countertops depends on the type of material. For laminate and wood, apply epoxy or other specialty sealers by pouring it onto the countertop and letting it flow across the whole surface to the edges, guiding it with a paint stick or putty knife. You will need to move quickly so that it does not dry or harden before you are done. For stone countertops, use a sealant specially manufactured for your type of stone and apply it according to manufacturer directions.

Countertop resurfacing or refinishing can extend the life of your countertops for an additional 5 to 10 years. The longevity depends on the quality of the materials, the amount of wear and tear, and how well the countertops are maintained. To maximize their lifespan, avoid heat damage by using hot pads or trivets, use cutting boards to prevent scratches, clean with non-abrasive cleaners, and wipe up spills promptly.
