He offered me a few options and also asked me if there were anything specific I wanted done. I basically described what I wanted and he curtailed his bid to what I was looking for at the best price. I liked the fact that he was honest and straight forward without playing any games or try and screw me over. In the end, I decided to get a whole new roof, down to even getting all new plywood. The men who came to work on the roof were competent and professional. They went to great lengths to only bother me when it was necessary. After inspecting the roof and chimney flashing Tony told me my roof was actually very well done and in good shape, and that in his opinion the source for water leaking into my home was due to a rusted out chimney case cover and termination cap (I got those items replaced as suggested and my problem was solved). I had actually called two companies to get an analysis and quotes to fix the problem. The other company told that my relatively new roof should be ripped up and replaced in that area of the roof. I appreciate the professional and honest approach of Great Western and they will be who I will use in the future when it does come time to replace or repair my roof."

"We had 5 or 6 contractors come out over a 2 year period, that gave us quotes ranging from $900 to $7000. When we finally made a decision on a company (Protecta Roofing, estimate $1500), they didn't show up on the scheduled day, then called me a week later (when it was raining) and asked if they could come out that day to do the work. We immediately hired a 2nd company (SRS Roofing, estimate $1900), who called me the day after they were scheduled to do the work, and told me that the quote was too low and that they would send me a new quote, but never did. I was ready to give up on Angie's List all together because the contractors seem so flaky. When we got Zenith out to do a quote, I was very pleased with Bryan's knowledge, explanations, timeline and quote ($1100).
