It went extremely well: team was courteous, professional and efficient. Cleaned up at the end of each day, paid attention to the property and delivered excellent results. New roof looks stunning, and this one is hopefully not leaking, unlike the 30-year old roof they replaced!

In 2018 Sequoia Roofing replaced my entire roof and did an excellent job for a reasonable price. In 2024 they helped me convince my HO insurance that my policy shouldn't be cancelled because the roof is still in outstanding condition with no faults or flaws.

Rudy gave us an estimate that was very competitive and much more comprehensive than the other estimates we received. He made sure there would be nothing unexpected or any unwelcome surprises. This was a big job on a house that the roof had been long neglected. There was a lot of wood repair that had to be done before the new roof could go on. This included both the house and a wooden patio cover. Wood replacement was the bulk of the cost. Both Rudy, and Tito, the job foreman, made suggestions along the way on things we could consider to help defray some of the costs at the same time making the house look really good. The crew showed up each day on time, were respectful of the property, cleaned up each day before departing, and all in all were always professional. The roof replacement included a lot of skylights (13 including the patio). We were opting for the cheaper “big box store” white skylights. Rudy had me look at an amber custom skylight in comparison and we ended up going with those. Night and day difference. They look so good and we are so thankful for his recommendation. (The company made nothing on the skylights, just made sure they had a very happy customer.) Yes, it cost a little more, but not that much and the visual difference is incredible! So pleased with the overall job. I highly recommend Sequoia Roofing for your roofing job!

Sequoia Roofing did an excellent job from start to finish. Once again it is proven to me "you get what you pay for". I got multiple estimates. Sequoia was not the least expensive. Mike Rochholz answered all my questions before, during and after. Communication was clear. Helped me choose the replacement tile. I knew what was going to be done and when I was on their work calendar six weeks ahead. Started on Monday and finished on Friday. Attention to details and professionalism of crew earn high praise, too.

Rudy and his team were amazing. They started the job on time, cleaned up daily, and finished the roof in just over 2 days. I've gotten several quotes. These guys were the best value by far. The product they use is high quality with awesome warranties. I had to organize the take down of my solar panels with another company and sequoia (Rudy) was always easy to contact and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend!

Sequoia Roofing recently replace the underlay of our 30-yr old roof, re-layed our existing tile and installed new bird stops. Rudy Turner, our point of contact, was always responsive and explained the process so we'd know what to expect. The crew was extremely courteous; they worked very hard and got the job done faster than we would have imagined. They also showed a lot of respect for our yard and our neighbors' yards with the clean-up during and at the end of the project. We are really pleased with our new roof and would certainly recommend Sequoia Roofing.

This is the second time Sequoia has done roofing for me and they are fantastic. Excellent work, excellent people. The "cost of service" that I list is the total of the roofing itself which was $11,040 and an additional $890 for wood that needed to be replaced (an Angie's List discount was applied). I'll call them again if I need more roofing.

I spoke to Mike with Sequoia Roofing and asked for a quote to replace my tar and rock roof with something that the solar companies could work with. He recommended a product that came with a 20 yr warranty and reflected 80% of the suns heat. Furthermore Mike worked with my solar company (SolarTech) to install the solar panel supports in the right locations on the roof. His crew was efficient, knowledgeable and did their best to minimize additional costs when problems arose.. I’ve recommended Sequoia Roofing to my mom in Fallbrook and my dad in San Clemente.

The roofing project was approx 4000 sq ft single story house. Sequoia crew showed on time and completed the work at advertised by Mike, the lead guy. He was professional as was his crew. No flat tires on our family vehicles from roofing nails! Several neighbors complimented the clean up and quality of work.

The roofing replacement went well. Michael guided us through the process of selecting the materials, gave us a clear estimate, and then followed up to make sure everything got scheduled. They took off our old roof and replaced it with a new one. We knew when we bought the house that the roof was due for replacement, as it was pretty close to end-of-life; we got it replaced before we started to have leaks and such out of an abundance of caution. Sequoia Roofing was prompt in arriving; they removed the old roof/installed the new roof over the course of two days; and then they cleaned up the mess when the job was complete. They weren't the cheapest of the group of roofers we selected to give us estimates, but they also weren't the most expensive. Very high-quality work, and I'd definitely recommend them.

The project manager coordinated work, days after I received my fans. The Job project manager was very communicative in emails. He Pointed out various options at the site. The project manager also drove around the neighborhood looking for our dog, when she snuck out! The actual roofer asked if I wanted to see the repair. They were great! ?

Aaron was professional and quick in responding to my call. He is awesome explaining what had happen and provided future suggestions to prevent another leak. Moreover, he was confident that the work will be done and will provide a permanent fix. Thank you, Aaron! I not only trusted you and the company but also peace of mind in helping a military family.

Overall, the job went very well. Aaron was the supervisor and was able to expedite my job to a window in his schedule that no other contractors were able to accommodate. There was a nice week between storms that he got his crew in to remove the old tiles, clean up, perform inspections and get the new materials installed. There was a minor glitch in the removal part of the job (a rain gutter was damaged), but Aaron handled it exceptionally. At the end of the job, I asked Aaron to take my phone camera onto the roof and take pictures, since I can't get up there myself to inspect. He provided excellent photos of all the critical areas of the roof, louvers, pipe outlets, etc. He even provided photos of the chimney stucco that shows extreme weather damage, so I can show them to the next (stucco) contractor for that upcoming job. I love my new roof and I'm so happy I went with Sequoia Roofing! Mike (owner) spent more time with me going over the process plus the warranty than any other roofing contractor I contacted and he had a reasonable bid to me by that evening. On the first day rain was in the forecast for 4pm so Mike had 8 guys on my roof pulling off the shingles and getting on the waterproof paper and they got it done and I had no leaks that night. My roof was done the next day and even though the guys made quite a mess they cleaned up really well. I was impressed!!! I mentioned to Tito (person in charge) that I had a leak in my garage with the old roof so he said he would check out that spot and make sure it was tightened up but he also remarked "with this crew you won't have any leaks" which really stuck with me and made me feel like I had a top notch crew putting on my roof. We've had alot of rain since the roof went up and I've had no leaks so Tito was right !!! There was one mishap where the water heater vent got dislodged, they had trouble fixing it so I called a plumber and it got resolved quickly. Thank you Sequoia Roofing for a job well done!!!

I noticed some water running down the window during a rain storm and concluded I must have a leak in the roof. They came out and found a small hole on the in one of the tiles. They replace the tile and no more leak. Everything seemed to go very well.

It was around $15,000, plus or minus $1,000. We give them an ?A?, that?s why we are using them again. I wasn?t in the bidding process, but we were okay with it. I don?t remember if there were any issues. There was probably about 10 people in their crew over the course of the project. It took about a week.

They explained everything, there were no surprises and they did the job with some good quality. Left the area spotless. I didn?t really come into contact with the workers, they were up on the roof. I think they gave us an Angie?s List discount too. We got $500 off the last one and we?re getting $500 off the next one. That also helps too.

I contacted four of the top rated angies list roofers in north county, all award winners...using the Angie's list mobile app. Three responded by the first business day and setup appointments to give me a quote. Mike at Sequoia was able to meet me the soonest. Had a quote already prepared using online data. He sat down at my kitchen table and explained the materials he uses, bringing a sample of the underlayment so I could see how durable it was. Also showed me options for low-e foil to reduce energy costs as well as new tile options. Not a high pressure sales but as informing me of the options. His crew started the following week and finished within a week and a half. Crew was punctual always starting promptly at 8am and cleaned up at the end of every day. We just had some of the worst rains with 4in in 4 days of almost noon stop rain. Rains used to be a time of anxiety because we knew we'd be wondering where the next leak would show up. But now with our new roof we are stress free and feel so grateful to Mike and Sequoia Roofing getting us our new roof just in time for this unbelievable rainy season! Oh and regarding the other 3 roofers i contacted... One came to my house but never gave me a quote Other one scheduled appointment but never showed up, never responded to my voicemail asking about rescheduling Third one never responded to my initial request for a quote
