  • Professional Roofing and Solar

Excellent. Didn't know much about any of this. They sent me pictures of the job progress daily. Explained what would happen before it happened, were meticulous and accurate about the cost, type of material and duration of the job. Each day they cleaned their work space, workmen were courteous (no blasting radios, etc) and efficient. I had a large roof replacement and they were in and out within a week. Customer support after the job was finished is also excellent. Office personnel are professional and courteous

  • Professional Roofing and Solar

This company replaced the roof on my house, the roof on my commercial building and they installed solar panels for my home. They have always given me the best price. They do excellent work, and they are very reliable. I even got comments from tenants about how nice these roofers were. The work product has always been excellent. We had a very challenging home re-roofing project that required a great deal of creativity. They did great

Rudy gave us an estimate that was very competitive and much more comprehensive than the other estimates we received. He made sure there would be nothing unexpected or any unwelcome surprises. This was a big job on a house that the roof had been long neglected. There was a lot of wood repair that had to be done before the new roof could go on. This included both the house and a wooden patio cover. Wood replacement was the bulk of the cost. Both Rudy, and Tito, the job foreman, made suggestions along the way on things we could consider to help defray some of the costs at the same time making the house look really good. The crew showed up each day on time, were respectful of the property, cleaned up each day before departing, and all in all were always professional. The roof replacement included a lot of skylights (13 including the patio). We were opting for the cheaper “big box store” white skylights. Rudy had me look at an amber custom skylight in comparison and we ended up going with those. Night and day difference. They look so good and we are so thankful for his recommendation. (The company made nothing on the skylights, just made sure they had a very happy customer.) Yes, it cost a little more, but not that much and the visual difference is incredible! So pleased with the overall job. I highly recommend Sequoia Roofing for your roofing job

  • A-Team Residential Remodeling

A-Team Residential Remodeling really brought their "A-game" to our kitchen and laundry room remodel. Jeff Raleigh, the owner, is extremely responsive and monitors the work closely. His team, and the subcontractors were equally professional and did quality work. I recommend A-Team Residential Remodeling without reservation

  • Halpert Construction

We held off on review for about four months because we do not believe you have a balanced picture of your experience immediately as the "newness factor" plays such a part. Last summer Halpert Construction remodeled our bathroom. We were immediately struck by the fact that Mark Halpert listened to us and did not try to take over the project like several of our other bidders seemed to want to. He also explained the whole process and after we hired him it worked just as he said. In fairness we agreed to purchase our own materials except for the basic construction materials (I must say he went above and beyond and purchased a number of things we expected to purchase.) He did help is with referrals to excellent sources. His bid was well within the parameters of the work he was providing and there were no hidden costs or cost overruns. His workers worked for him and were not day laborers and we were extremely pleased with all of them. The workers (and Mark) were excellent to work with and never got tired of explaining and answering our questions. They did their professional work perfectly but always consulted us when there was a design question. If we were having trouble they always gave us some perspectives. Even though we started early there were a couple of SNAFUs as to our part of the purchases--mostly because of the pandemic and the shortage of materials. They took it in stride and worked around these difficulties without complaint. They finished on time and cleaned up well. At the end of the job we did stick on a painting project and he gave us a good price and even pulled his main painter to take care of us that day. After four months we view this project as one of our best improvements on our house and are amazed every day when we use the shower and bathroom. We could wholeheartedly recommend Halpert Construction for any household project--large or small

  • Approved Contractor, Inc.

On a home built in 1957 Approved Contractor Inc (ACI) installed new construction windows and sliding glass doors, stripped the house of old siding, removed old plywood sheathing and old insulation, and then insulated and stuccoed the house. What was important was not only finding a reputable construction company, but also one that would coordinate the total project. The added benefits were quality work and high-end material, at a competitive price. Of note, was the stucco method (4 layers-coats - scratch, brown, finish and texture). The texture coat is an elastomeric paint (color of my choosing) that is water repellent, reflective and provides an even color on the walls - with a lifetime warranty. Other stucco contractors stop on the finish coat, with the color in stucco. In addition ACI uses its own subcontractors. ACI was professional, flexible, and did really great work. ACI was a superb choice

Awesome job, fast work, quality work, looks like a new house. Prices were really good, fair. People who did the job were polite and responsive. Keep in mind there were holes in my stucco everywhere. Paint falling off the house. They cleaned it, patched everything and then painted over 3 days. Replaced some damaged trim as well

Rudy and his team were amazing. They started the job on time, cleaned up daily, and finished the roof in just over 2 days. I've gotten several quotes. These guys were the best value by far. The product they use is high quality with awesome warranties. I had to organize the take down of my solar panels with another company and sequoia (Rudy) was always easy to contact and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend
