"**Robert was very calm, cool, and collected!!!! I got a call from my tenant at about 1p on a Sunday afternoon, that her kitchen ceiling was leaking water. I suspected there was a plumbing issue right away, and I reached out to Robert. Instantly, Robert said he would go take a look after he completed his job across town. Heroically, Robert made it there in about 30 mins and discovered the issue was a clogged pipe, and used all his tools in his belt to help me clear the clogged drain issue. Long story short -- he fixed everything before 3p 😮😮😮 Thank you Robert!! You are the man!! I will call you without hesitation moving forward!!!"

"Kenneth was an expert! He offered me choices in the approach to be used to have my drain cleared out, in an effort to be sensitive to the costs involved. Job well done, much appreciated, and will call him back to perform other, non-emergency, work in the future."

"Trinidad came right after I talk to him over the phone within half an hour. I had him and his associate fixed my leaking faucet and done with in the hour. He asked me check everything before I pay him and kindly explain the work. Everything is nice and clean."

"Quick call back from the company. The technician showed up in less than an hour. The job was done in 15 minutes. The only downside was the cost. He wanted to charge $295 but I had 2 other bids at $275 so he reluctantly accepted that bid. The drain is working so all's good but $1,100 per hour!"

French Drains questions, answered by experts

Bleach isn’t likely to help unclog a sewer line. Bleach isn’t useful in this situation because it won’t dissolve the grime and debris in the clog. Instead, you want to use ingredients that will have a chemical reaction to clear out the buildup, like vinegar or salt and baking soda.

That pungent rotten egg smell coming from your drain is likely the buildup of biofilm—hair, skin, and soap scum that turns into a black sticky mess. In this case, pouring down near-boiling water, baking soda, and white vinegar will remove the smell. Keep in mind that a rotten egg smell is occasionally a sign of larger sewage line clogs and other related issues.

In most areas, drain cleaning professionals don’t technically need a license, as they aren’t altering your plumbing system in any way. However, we recommend hiring a drain cleaning professional with a plumbing license and certification. Certified plumbers are more likely to provide professional solutions to drain clogs without damaging your system. They’ll also have the diagnostic tools and experience necessary to remove the clog entirely rather than providing a temporary solution, as a handyperson might. Use Angi’s state licensing tool to check your plumber’s professional licenses before hiring.

Flushing the toilet only to realize it’s clogged can cause anxiety. To avoid a clogged toilet, use less toilet paper. If you notice that the toilet is flushing and refilling slower than usual, you can use a plunger to clear clogs in the S-trap. If that doesn’t work, call a plumber to check your system and possibly clear the drain lines.

There are a few reasons your snake won’t go down the floor drain. One common reason is a large obstruction in the drain that is causing a blockage. You can remove any debris you see in the drain before trying to snake it. In addition, the snake might not be long enough to reach the clog, or it might be the wrong diameter.
