"I am updating my rating for CA Electrical (Unfortunately Angi will not allow me to edit, so I am posting this as a new review). After posting my original review I was contacted by CA Electrical. The supervisor assured me that my experience was not their normal practice and that they normally made sure to call if there was a change of plans. I felt that they were earnest in trying to make things right, so I agreed to give them another chance. I ultimately decided to select them for my project to replace sub panel and install outlets. The crew was excellent and professional. They showed up on time, were professional and friendly, took extra care to ensure work spaces were left clean. Their workmanship was excellent and they did a great job of cleaning up some messy electrical wiring that had been there before. As an electrical engineer, I also appreciated the crews knowledge of code and ability to explain the technical side of the installation. I would use them again."

"I did not actually hire; Emanuel. Here is what happened. He called me to see what my issue was. I explained it to him, having to do with GFCI outlets and breakers I was not able to reset. He said, do you want to hop on FaceTime and show me the electrical panel? I said YES! So in the span of 8 patient minutes, he led me through how to flip the breakers fully, and safely, and then talked me through resetting my GFCI outlets underneath my kitchen sink. All while on FaceTime. I told him I wanted to pay him for his time and expertise (and laidback kindness) -- he said, nah, no problem, just call next time I have an electrical issue. "Ray was instrumental in upgrading the electrical in my townhome, including installing new recessed lights, light fixtures, replacing receptacles with new ones and modern cover plates. He also relocated and installed a new subpanel providing dedicated circuits to appliances and the newly installed recessed lights. Ray is incredibly knowledgeable and very easy to work with and I would recommend him and happily use his services again."
