"My husband and I have been thinking for several months to get convert our backyard to a drought tolerant landscape. We want to lower our water bill as much as possible and revamp our yard and get it ready for summer. We decided to hire Motti because we felt he gave us the best presentation of ideas for the yard and his background knowledge of landscaping. We had our grass ripped off completely and remove very old sprinklers. The crew planted about 50 California Native and desert type plants with a new irrigation and removal of a Yucca type tree, with stump and roots. DG and rocks were also installed. Overall the project came out great. We are happy and will call Motti for our next project (Front yard)."

His experience in design suggested minor adjustment of my idea/drawings but willing to landscape any way of my preferences. His contract was thoroughly itemized and didn’t add any additional “surprise” costs. Payments were installments as project progressed. Hardworking Crew stayed on expected timeline. Hutch came by every day to supervise progress of our landscaping. Our front and backyards were transformed from weed fields into beautiful landscaping. Removed weeds and unwanted plants, prepped surface, laid weed barrier and installed Artificial turf in backyard, laid pavers and stone walkway. Transformed front yard into rock riverbed surrounded by plants accented with boulders, and installing drip system. Planted border shrubs and a rose garden. Lined walkway and rose garden with pavers matching our flagstone. Our sewer line needed realignment which Hutch arranged to be repaired. Other company estimate quotes were either vague, didn’t itemize, or way over priced. Offered a few addresses for us to drive by to see his actual work which helped us on our decision to work with Hye Turf Design. I would highly recommend Hye Turf Designs. Thanks Hutch !"

"Kaster at Permagreen is simply awesome. Where do I begin... First there was a leak in our backyard that constantly drenched parts of it for good 9+ months and couldn't figure out where the water was coming from. When i called permagreen and informed then of the problem we were having, they came out quickly and dug holes in the ground to determine that the water was coming from the house behind us. We were able to contact the neighbor and fix the overwatering problem quickly. We also had permagreen plant several trees along our wall in the backyard to provide us with much needed privacy and they did an awesome job. The crew ran a new sprinkler line and planted 10+ large beautiful trees along our backyard walls at a price we didn't think was possible. Lastly, they were also able to do a quick demolition of large concrete slab when we decided to remove it in the middle of them planting trees. We will definitely be using them again in the near future for our landscape/hardscape needs. We simply can't recommend them enough. The largest project he did: plant ground cover and lots of bushes on a pretty steep hill, had to clean it, improve irrigation, etc. also we did a few tune up projects for irrigation and landscape lightning repair as well as build 26” garden retainer wall. I was super happy with the work Tom and his crew did. He is easy to communicate with, punctual, pays attention to details and overall a very pleasant person to do business with. After a large project we followed up with a few smaller ones and plan to do more. I liked his crew as well: attention to details, keeping job site clean during the work and after. Highly recommend!"

Mike worked with us to determine our preferences, gave us two suggested directions, and when we chose one, presented us with a beautiful landscape design that checked every box. Fast forward two years, we were ready to execute on the design and decided to hire G&L to carry out the work. The work was done carefully and well, not a rush job. The workmen were consistently courteous and kept a clean worksite. Now we are looking at our very beautiful new backyard, with spaces for entertaining, gardening, and everything else we wanted. They did not cut corners with the quality of the work. I highly recommend this company! I think they may be a bit pricier than other choices, but you get what you pay for."
