He brought a full team (8 guys the first day and 4 the second day) to install landscape drains around my home as well as connect all of the gutter downspouts into a central line. Finished product looks very professional and they left the job site very clean. Will use them in the future for other landscape projects. Price was reasonable and in line with other quotes, he won the job because of prior reviews like this, his ability to get the project done quickly before the holidays and because his drainage solution seemed like the best one given it would take the water away from the house."

"My husband and I have been thinking for several months to get convert our backyard to a drought tolerant landscape. We want to lower our water bill as much as possible and revamp our yard and get it ready for summer. We decided to hire Motti because we felt he gave us the best presentation of ideas for the yard and his background knowledge of landscaping. We had our grass ripped off completely and remove very old sprinklers. The crew planted about 50 California Native and desert type plants with a new irrigation and removal of a Yucca type tree, with stump and roots. DG and rocks were also installed. He was always on-time for our appointments and once work commenced, he kept us up to date on the schedule. When an unforeseen problem occurred related to tree roots obstructing a yard drain, he clearly explained the problem, his recommended solution and, upon our approval, took care of the issue. I appreciated his collaborative approach to the landscape design. He laid out a wonderful garden plan which incorporated my preferences. He clearly listened to my ideas and vision. He also treats his workers with respect, and they were highly professional. They cleaned up the yard everyday before they left and they did not attempt to do "short cuts" to save time. Mike worked with us to determine our preferences, gave us two suggested directions, and when we chose one, presented us with a beautiful landscape design that checked every box. Fast forward two years, we were ready to execute on the design and decided to hire G&L to carry out the work. The work was done carefully and well, not a rush job. The workmen were consistently courteous and kept a clean worksite. Now we are looking at our very beautiful new backyard, with spaces for entertaining, gardening, and everything else we wanted. They did not cut corners with the quality of the work. I highly recommend this company! I think they may be a bit pricier than other choices, but you get what you pay for."
