They completed the project within three days that for other contractors would have needed additional time. I was so happy with their work that I requested Jose assistance on another house project. The crew was very polite and provide good information on how to properly maintain the various plants, ground cover and grass that was installed. "Our backyard was in need of a redo: We struggled to grow grass, and we wanted a space that would accommodate a trampoline and a small garden, as well as a dining table and sitting area, but still feel green and lush. After meeting with a few landscapers who suggested we get rid of the trampoline, rip up our existing brick patio and put pavers everywhere, we met Alisa from Motti's team. As a landscape designer, she really listened to what we wanted, and had great ideas for how to incorporate it all, as well as suggestions for garden planters and furniture. A week after our meeting, we got detailed plans that showed us just what the yard would look like, as well as what plants would look and work best. We then worked with Motti to tweak the plans, finalize the budget, and pick out materials, etc., and we were able to schedule the project within a few weeks time. Once the job started, Motti's team of workers were professional and efficient, and Motti stopped by daily to check the progress. "Hutch was professional and personable , easy to talk to about my design for front yard. His experience in design suggested minor adjustment of my idea/drawings but willing to landscape any way of my preferences. His contract was thoroughly itemized and didn’t add any additional “surprise” costs. Payments were installments as project progressed. Hardworking Crew stayed on expected timeline. Hutch came by every day to supervise progress of our landscaping. Our front and backyards were transformed from weed fields into beautiful landscaping. Removed weeds and unwanted plants, prepped surface, laid weed barrier and installed Artificial turf in backyard, laid pavers and stone walkway. Transformed front yard into rock riverbed surrounded by plants accented with boulders, and installing drip system. Planted border shrubs and a rose garden. Lined walkway and rose garden with pavers matching our flagstone. Our sewer line needed realignment which Hutch arranged to be repaired. Other company estimate quotes were either vague, didn’t itemize, or way over priced. I appreciated his collaborative approach to the landscape design. He laid out a wonderful garden plan which incorporated my preferences. He clearly listened to my ideas and vision. He also treats his workers with respect, and they were highly professional. They cleaned up the yard everyday before they left and they did not attempt to do "short cuts" to save time. "We contacted G&L design for a professional design of our back yard space in Santa Clarita about 2 years ago. Mike worked with us to determine our preferences, gave us two suggested directions, and when we chose one, presented us with a beautiful landscape design that checked every box. Fast forward two years, we were ready to execute on the design and decided to hire G&L to carry out the work. The work was done carefully and well, not a rush job. The workmen were consistently courteous and kept a clean worksite. Now we are looking at our very beautiful new backyard, with spaces for entertaining, gardening, and everything else we wanted. They did not cut corners with the quality of the work. I highly recommend this company! I think they may be a bit pricier than other choices, but you get what you pay for."

"The backyard transformation included a concrete patio, a covered BBQ area, new walkways, landscape lighting, and a complete planting update. We wanted the BBQ station close to the home for easy access, with the patio extending outward into the yard for more open space. The patio cover was designed with enough height to keep the area open and bright while providing afternoon shade. They also installed new irrigation before planting, and finished the walkways with matching concrete. The finished backyard gives us several useful areas without making the property look overbuilt."
