A very professional, courteous, and personable plumber, Bruce, diagnosed the problem and made an expert repair for a reasonable cost. We were very pleased. Bruce was genuinely concerned about our home's plumbing. Without any sales pressure at all, he and his equally expert associate, Matthew, made an inspection of our water pipes and discovered three issues: 1) the "water shutoff valve" at the base of the house was actually a gas shutoff valve!, and 2) a number of our water pipes were galvanized pipe instead of the desired/required copper pipe. While under the house, Matthew spotted issue # 3) and photographed it: one of our heating ducts had become disconnected, thus pumping hot air into the crawlspace! So, we are having Plumbtree Pumping come back to make a thorough estimate to correct items 1) and 2). (And our HVAC people will fix item 3)!) Please strongly consider using Plumbtree Plumbing for all your plumbing needs!"

"TJ" quoted me $900 for the job and $300 to move washer and dryer to access the main valves. That's $1,200. In the end, washer and dryer were not moved. But I did ask them to replace a faucet cartridge in my bathtub, which they did. But before that, Felipe had managed to turn off the water to my unit without moving washer and dryer. He then had to cut into drywall to locate the outbound pipes, but made a mistake. The next cut he made found the water pipes but these were the wrong pipes. An emergency water shutoff to the building was required. In the end, the bill was for $1,800. They did not take credit card. No receipt was given to itemize work done. These guys, from Moor Plumbing Solutions, did work hard and got the job done but there was a serious lack of transparency from the very beginning, not to mention a near disaster."

We would have chosen it over plastic, but price difference would need to be cleared upfront. That's the only negative. Otherwise, thus far we are very happy with the result.
