"We suffered water damage to the hickory floor in our home after the storms of January & February 2023. We contacted Clark’s Hardwood Floors, Inc. for help. We were very happy with Clark’s through all phases of refinishing, from the initial estimate through job completion. Their estimate was significantly lower than a competitor’s bid, their office staff was delightful to deal with, and their refinishing crew was superb. Our refinishing crew was Jorge (lead) and Nidiro. Jorge let us know exactly what to expect and when, which helped us plan our own activities around the job. They used the “atomic dust-free system” to sand off the old finish. It really was dust free! They were thorough and meticulous in everything they did. And, although the old finish was removed completely along baseboards and in every nook and cranny, our baseboards were not even nicked! Every flaw in the floor was meticulously addressed. These guys were excellent craftsmen! Because we had had issues in front of the kitchen sink, at Larry Moreno’s suggestion the new finish was completed with Traffic Commercial Grade polyurethane. The result was stunning! Our hickory floor looks better than ever before! We are thrilled with the results! All our interactions with Clark’s have been excellent! We recommend them highly!"

It not only included refinishing existing wood floors, but he also had to rip out some previously installed wood flooring that couldnâ t be sanded. He then installed new hardwood in that room. He explained each step and was extremely patient with us when we were trying agree on the stain and sealant choices. He prepped and protected other areas of the home to help keep them dust free. He also vacuumed and cleaned up at the end of each day. He finished the job when he said he would. He came back a few days after the job was completed and in checking the floors, he decided we needed one last coat of finish in the high traffic areas. He didnâ t have to do that, but he just felt it would be better protected to do so. We really appreciate his follow-through and commitment to quality work. "Jesus did an outstanding job to a floor that had many deep set stains to the wood. He was able to sand it thoroughly before applying a darker stain in order to hide any of the existing previous damage. He made many other repairs to areas that needed attention. He has fair pricing and works well with the property owners who are out of state and a local realtor during every stage of the work. Here are some photos showing the finished product.
