J. Brent Baker Flooring

I have only good things to say about working with J. Brent Baker Flooring. My floors look wonderful and everything stayed on schedule and on budget. The owner went out his way to make sure my family understood the scope of the job and was happy with the work. He has a wealth of knowledge about how to care for the refinished floors and helped us secure materials to move our piano back in place without damaging the newly refinished floors. I have already recommended him to friends and family who are refinishing their floors. His company does quality work and Brent proved to be someone we could trust to take good care of our home.

Brent and his team did an outstanding job with the entire project, being very careful and meticulous about choosing materials, installing the floors, and sanding and finishing. They went out of their way to make sure that all our concerns were addressed, and we're thrilled with how the floors came out. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

Brent is a true craftsman. Down to earth, easy to talk to, and reliable. I enjoyed working with Brent and his team on my hardwood floors in my new house. The job took about a week. We were in constant communication. Brent and his team did a great job. We couldn't be happier with the results.

I am so glad we went with Brent to refinish our hardwood floors in our house in Willow Glen. The house we moved into had carpet for years over original hardwood. It was hard for us to imagine the potential the hardwood had at first glance. Brent, however, was fantastic. He tried his best to accommodate our schedule for move-in -- between fumigation, painting, etc. And he was so meticulous in all aspects. He even went so far as going back to our house one evening while we were away to make sure the heater was running to ensure that the finish would dry well. The end result is amazing -- absolutely beautiful! It was a guarantee that when other vendors would come in for other jobs, they would comment on the workmanship of the floors. His estimate was by far the best compared to other vendors, as well. We would go back to Brent for our floors again (and have already!) and highly recommend him to others.

He did a great job on he floor, maintaind communication as to when he would be arriving and called to say he was done for the day. He provided input on selecting stain color. Easy to talk to as well.

We pulled up our rug to reveal parquet floors that were a bit stained in places but after Brent was done the floor looked great! He talked us through the options on color and finish and was meticulous about getting it as good as possible. Great job...I would hire him again!

I needed my hardwood floors repaired/refinished quickly for a pending appraisal. Brent responded quickly to my online inquiry and had a quote to me within 2 days. His workers always showed up on time and worked well into the evening (with my permission). My floors were really, really bad and now they are shining! I would definitely recommend Brent for your hardwood flooring needs. Oh, and did I mention Brent's quote was $1200 less than my current contractor's quote?

Brent walked us through the choices of wood; showing us which brands he has worked with that has worked well. We had our Family room, Living room and Dining room installed with 3/4" Brazilian Cherry. The color was very consistent amongst all the planks unlike other brands. We had a lot of questions regarding the installation and prep work and Brent always returned my calls and emails. During the installation he and his crew were always on time, cleaned up each day and did a fantastic job. The floor looks great. He is someone you can trust to do a good job.

Brent was willing to take on this tricky job (my general contractor had refused to do it), came over right away, provided an estimate and got the job done in 2 hrs. Excellent job. The clean up was also great. I am very pleased with this Pro and would work with them again if I need to.
