"We suffered water damage to the hickory floor in our home after the storms of January & February 2023. We contacted Clark’s Hardwood Floors, Inc. for help. We were very happy with Clark’s through all phases of refinishing, from the initial estimate through job completion. Their estimate was significantly lower than a competitor’s bid, their office staff was delightful to deal with, and their refinishing crew was superb. Our refinishing crew was Jorge (lead) and Nidiro. Jorge let us know exactly what to expect and when, which helped us plan our own activities around the job. They used the “atomic dust-free system” to sand off the old finish. It really was dust free! They were thorough and meticulous in everything they did. And, although the old finish was removed completely along baseboards and in every nook and cranny, our baseboards were not even nicked! Every flaw in the floor was meticulously addressed. These guys were excellent craftsmen! Because we had had issues in front of the kitchen sink, at Larry Moreno’s suggestion the new finish was completed with Traffic Commercial Grade polyurethane. The result was stunning! Our hickory floor looks better than ever before! We are thrilled with the results! All our interactions with Clark’s have been excellent! We recommend them highly!"

I am very demanding in the quality of the work, so I appreciate the meticulously sanding of the floors, evenly over deep stains and gouges, removing door thresholds, going under refrigerator door overhang, etc. And masking off each floor planks at transition points to match individual planks. Also appreciate the color matching to the existing finish, adjusting at each of the coats. Dust containment was excellent, and clean up was spotless. Very fair pricing."

"Jesus did an outstanding job to a floor that had many deep set stains to the wood. He was able to sand it thoroughly before applying a darker stain in order to hide any of the existing previous damage. He made many other repairs to areas that needed attention. He has fair pricing and works well with the property owners who are out of state and a local realtor during every stage of the work. Here are some photos showing the finished product. "We had trouble finding someone to re-tile our bathroom. I turned to Angi and was contacted by 3 contractors within an hour. Juan was the only one that wanted to come out to look at it in person. That was very important to me, no one wants surprises when starting a project and Juan gave us a very good evaluation of what needed to be done. Juan has a great personality and is very easy to talk to. We hired him to replace the tile floor and remove an old sink in a vanity. The tub surround and vanity are vintage and in great shape so we wanted to preserve it if possible. We were not sure it could be done. Juan was able to remove the old sink without doing any damage to the surrounding tile. Both the floor and the vanity with the new sink look great. I would hire Juan again. He has great communication skills, he is respectful of the house, keeps a clean work site and kept the dust and work from interfering with the rest of the house."

"Dom did a superb job on both carpet installation and hardwood floor refinishing. He was very responsive to our calls/texts and explained exactly what was to be done every step of the way. The owner of DG Flooring, Dom was on site each day, working diligently alongside or independent of his employees. His work was professional, thorough, and completed in a timely fashion (6 consecutive days). His focus was on our project alone, so he didn’t “disappear” to attend to some other project. He even requested to work, and we allowed, into the early evening and on the weekend in order to complete the project by the agreed upon deadline. He was very accommodating to our needs, trying as much as possible not to create any inconveniences. He and his crew were very respectful and very hard working. His pricing was reasonable and came in as he had estimated. He moved furniture at no additional cost. He also did other related work, I.e., he removed a pony wall, moved an outlet, and retextured and painted a wall. He and his crew cleaned up nicely at each day’s end. His work is of high quality and he wouldn’t declare any part of the job finished until it met his own high expectations. We highly recommend Dom and DG Flooring to anyone looking for an outstanding contractor."
