"We found Golden Aire when looking for a company that installs Rheem HVAC systems. Golden Aire installs other brands as well and we received quotes on those as well, but we were partial to Rheem as our house had a Rheem system that worked well and surprisingly efficiently for 30 years (the second system is still running as I'm writing this: 30 years and counting!). Ken Golden, the owner of Golden Aire, came to our house for a quote and impressed me right away with his knowledge, honesty and professionalism. Have him come give you a quote just to see the difference between his expertise and the salespeople that other companies send out to do their bids! His price was comparable to that of other companies who were pricing out less expensive brands. When his crew came out to do the job, they were also very courteous, professional and punctual. They replaced some incorrectly installed ducts at no cost and finished the job cleanly and exactly as promised. The office, also extremely courteous and professional, followed up with me to do the testing for the airconditioning a few months later (as it was installed in winter and couldn't be tested) and scheduled the inspection for me. We are definitely giving them a call if and when the other system goes out."

We called for plumbing help Friday AM and they sent someone out Monday. The plumber was here first thing, diagnosed the problem and wrote up a proposal. It was steep, but he was ready to solve all our plumbing problems, one stop and no more fuss - so I approved it.
In less than 90 minutes he had cleared the urinal drain and installed a new kitchen faucet. The faucet is exceptionally ugly, the worst Home Depot model possible. My mistake for accepting his choose A,B or C option. Although he indicated he would have to remove the urinal from the wall to access the drain line, I think he had a change of mind - the drain was rodded through the outlet after all, no removal - about 10 minutes work.
The bill was $1260. The (ugly) faucet was a $100 Home Depot special, call it $260 with steep contractor markup. That means his 90 minutes of labor was around $1,000 or $666 per hour. I wouldn't pay a divorce attorney that kind of money, even if I was Gwyneth Paltrow!
No complaints about the work or the professionalism - but man that price.

"Furnace ran without trouble while Eric was here. He inspected it and ran tests, found nothing wrong. Charged us only for the visit, and didn't try to sell us any kind of additional services. But he provided a quote for a new unit in case the noise returned and we wanted to replace the furnace, which is 20 years old. "Plumber arrived on time, we went over possible replacement faucets and he went back to shop to get the model I wanted.  He came back within an hour or so and installed the new faucet.  Unfortunately, he didn't have a length of 3/4" hose with which to flush our the hot water line which is partially clogged with rust, etc., so he was unable to perform that part of the requested service and I still have low hot water pressure in the kitchen.
