"The quote to install a sink was extremely high - over $1000. This is maybe a 2 hour job, and I had all of the parts needed except maybe an extra foot of PVC. I'm sorry, but I can't see paying anywhere close to $500/hr for this. This is gouging, I recommend staying away."

"Carini installed my mini splits a few years ago and promised me the world with their warranties. Well, turns out they botched something during the install and all of the refrigerant leaked out. They want $2,200 to refill and re-pressurize the line. Since they cross-threaded the screw that led to the leak during installation, this should be covered under the "Lifetime Craftsmanship" guarantee. Instead, they're trying to charging me a full day of labor to fix their mistake. Support on this issue has been dismal. It's been 16 days since they first diagnosed the problem and I still don't have a timeline for when this will get fixed. I chose Carini because of their warranties and their service record, but its all smoke and mirrors. You've been warned."

Moreover, he then claimed he only did cost quotas yet in his van was all the equipment to complete my job. These guys are not honest and it is all about the money. Especially in summer. Another company came out and did the job for $600!!! The next day!!! Avoid these Anderson con artists. They act like this is the most difficult thing in the world. I travel a lot. These units are all over the world by the 100 thousands--just in Athens alone I saw every high rise apartment and houses with them. Not rocket science but granted it takes a trained technician to install refrigerant. It took 2 hours to complete. Angelo spent an hour on this call and 15 minutes trying to BS me why he could not do it. Upscale neighborhood--let's bid this 10 times what is reasonable."
