"Great service all around from Bob Jensen. Free in home estimate with no pressure sales tactics. When it came to the installation, it was nice to know that they use their own crew, they do not subcontract out the work, so you know what you're going to get. On the day of installation, the sales person came also to ensure that we all understood what was going to happen. The install technicians, Tony and Sammy, took time to ensure that everything was done correctly and answered all the questions I had. I would highly recommend this company for any of your HVAC needs."

"They did a great job. They rebuilt my closet, hung curtain rods, fixed a kitchen cabinet and drawers as well as a few other small projects. It was very reasonably priced and done quickly. I would definitely hire again."

"Based on prior experience with Cool Air Technologies and its owner, Bill McIntosh, I chose them to replace my HVAC system. I was not disappointed. Bill and his staff were friendly and professional, communicated and resolved issues found, and completed the work as scheduled. I happily recommend Cool Air Technologies."

"Great job. Anthony did a complete review of the house and the current venting and recommended the proper size for the AC. The installers and electricians came 3 days later, did additional wiring and piping and installed the entire system in 5 hours."
Using the sewer camera to inspect the inside of a customer's drains
Camera inspection through a sewer vent on a customer's roof
Hydro jet uses water at 4,000psi to clean the inside of the mainline drain which connects all the home's drains to the city's sewer system.
Using a snake we can go through the cleanouts on the side of the house.
With the cleanouts snaked, and the blockage located, we can send the hydro jet through the sewer vent and flush out the blocked drain.

"Overall gave us what we wanted in terms of brand unit and was more affordable. Replaced entire 5 Ton AC Unit system and paid $11,750 In total with permits included for a Goodman new system, Furnace included. The Pros definitely outweigh the Cons which there were a few during the install and after but they resolved it quickly and for that reason alone I gave a 5/5 instead of a 4/5. The install team was very patient with all our questions, friendly and professional. Overall was satisfied with the project and recommend 100%."

"B&C Electric did a great job. Robert Burns came to my house after another electrician from another company installed a Tesla charger. For the next 4 weeks we had trouble with different areas of our house losing power. I called this initial electrician back to fix the problem. He came and did some work but the power outages continued. That's when I said enough is enough and called Robert at B&C electric. He came and did a thorough evaluation of my sub panel. He found that the breaker switch installed by the other company was not only cheap but not wired correctly. Robert installed a new breaker switch and I have not had any trouble since. Robert explained everything to me and showed me what he was doing. The best electrician I have used, hands down. I will use him again!"

Subcontractors questions, answered by experts

When planning a general remodeling project, it's important to define the scope of work, understand your goals, and set a clear, detailed budget. You should also assess the current structure and consult with professionals like architects or contractors. Create a realistic timeline for each phase, obtain any necessary permits, and build in contingency plans for potential delays or unforeseen issues. Regular communication with all involved parties is crucial to streamline the process.

A pool builder can advise you on the best design for your property and vision, and can walk you through the process from design to a swim-ready pool. Knowing which questions to ask a pool builder can help ensure you choose the right person for the job.

It is technically possible to draw your own blueprints, but the process is extremely involved and really demands help from an expert. A professional architect has an understanding of design elements, interior design, the functionality of different rooms in a home, and how everything from furniture, outlets, and light switches should be laid out to serve you and your family best. Hiring an architect for blueprints can get expensive, but it’s the most responsible way to begin a new construction project. If you’re keen on DIYing, you could consider starting the process and then having a professional take over.

While you will always work with a team of professionals at some point during your home build, homeowners with experience can take on some part of the process. Manage the initial brainstorm, brief writeup, and floor layout phase with minimal assistance before contacting a general contractor. And while you can purchase stock blueprints for some home designs, it's always best to speak with professionals when choosing one ideal for your property.

Framing is often the most expensive phase of building a house because it’s time-consuming and requires a lot of materials. It costs between $20,000 and $50,000 on average, depending on materials and labor costs. Before construction begins, it’s possible that purchasing land is the priciest step in the process. Some plots of land sell for $3,000, while others cost upwards of $150,000.
