Were they everything you wanted and more? I got exactly what I needed done. I had an old electrical panel that was over 70 years old. It needed replacement and Nelson Electric did their job. Did they job get done right and efficiently? Yes. The biggest challenge was getting the permits. I had to wait two months for my city to approve the work but once done, Nelson Electric done their work right. The owner tried his best to minimize the downtime for no power in my house. The main work took about three hours and I was back with electricity again. How was customer service? Customer service is top notch. The owner acted professional and he even looked professional by wearing clean clothes and he even combed his hair to look presentable. I didn't feel I was working with an average guy on the street. I felt I was working with a professional.

Zack understood the urgency of the job. He didn't have availability initially but as soon as he was able to commit to a time, he notified me promptly and showed up at the site that same afternoon. He installed the outlet for a new water heater unit scheduled to be installed the next day. He did a neat job and left the work area clean.

We have problems with one of the burners on our gas GE cooktop and have decided to purchase an electric model. Both Home Depot and Angi helped us in our search for an electrician. Happily, we found Zack Nelson of Nelson Electric in nearby Vacaville. He promptly arrived, checked our electric panel, cabinets above and under our cooktop, and attic for running new electric wiring from the garage panel to the kitchen. A previous estimate led us to believe this wish to change from gas to electric was more than we wanted to pay. Zack has a "can do" attitude, and his price was much lower. Within days, Zack and his crew member Westley completed the following: replacement of two breakers in our sub panel to make room for the new 40 amp breaker and installed a 40 amp 240 volt circuit to the cabinet under the cooktop. This was done within a couple of hours and they cleaned up completely before they left. We are now ready to purchase and have our new electric cooktop installed. Zack arrived at the scheduled time which is unusual for most contractors! He was very professional and took the time to answer all my questions. He knew what he was doing! The job went very well. After installing the transfer box, Zack then took the time to show me how the portable generator was to be hooked up to the outlet. He then made sure all was working as it was supposed to.
