Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. I feel that I may have been able to get the job done more cheaply but I'm afraid the job I would get for a cheaper amount would be a cheaper job. I think they were dependable and the job was well done. 
They did use nails on the deck which is OK but I would have liked screws better.
