"We had two outdoor faucets that were leaking & called Gordon late in the afternoon for estimates. Gordon answered the phone himself & gave an estimate of $130.00 for the work & said could do the job at 8:30 am the next morning. Gordon & helper arrived a few minutes ahead of schedule and promptly removed & replaced the two faucet hose bibs for the quoted price minus a 5% discount we were not aware of at the time (saving us $6.50 on the job). The job was completed in less than 30 minutes, start to finish. Thanks for your help Gordon!"

"Good. He explained that the reason we were having problems with the faucet was because the opening in the granite was too large and over time it could happen again. He cautioned us to avoid moving the head to the side all the way to the stop on either side to prevent it from happening again. The plumber that had fixed it previously several years ago did not mention that."

"We had our tankless water heater drained - annual maintenance. They show up when they say they will and do it right the first time. In the past we've had issues with AC's, plumbing and more. Evey time they've exceeded our expectations and would highly recommend them for any heating, AC or plumbing. We've used them for well over 20 years and wouldn't want anyone else. They are the best."

"Both the main and secondary condensate drains were clogged and the service technician cleared them.  He also cleaned filters and verified proper operation of all equipment.  We intend to use Carini for future annual checkups and needed service.

Hydro jet uses water at 4,000psi to clean the inside of the mainline drain which connects all the home's drains to the city's sewer system.
Using a snake we can go through the cleanouts on the side of the house.
With the cleanouts snaked, and the blockage located, we can send the hydro jet through the sewer vent and flush out the blocked drain.

French Drains questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can use vinegar to unclog a dishwasher. To do so, combine 4 tablespoons of white vinegar with 4 tablespoons of baking soda and pour the mixture down your dishwasher’s drain. Let it sit for 15 minutes, then pour a cup of hot water down the drain to flush everything out. Finally, run a rinse cycle on your dishwasher to see if the clog is gone.

If you’re not using a septic system, problems with your home’s plumbing won’t cause this—it’s a city problem. A large blockage in the municipal sewage lines may cause those lines to back up into your home. This is extremely unpleasant and can be a serious health risk due to bacteria and other contaminants. If this occurs, call a pro (or your city) immediately.

A clogged air gap can cause a dishwasher not to drain. There are, however, other potential issues that can lead to improper drainage. For example, if you have attached the air gap to a garbage disposal and forgotten to remove the knockout plug, wastewater may backflow into the dishwasher. Check that the air gap is installed properly, and then look for clogs in the air gap and dishwasher filters.

A small amount of diluted bleach is okay to pour down a garbage disposal. As part of your weekly garbage disposal maintenance, use 1 teaspoon of bleach with your concoction of ice cubes and lemon peels. Turn on the disposal and run the water until the blades chop up the ice cubes.

Any more bleach in your disposal can harden oils and greases in your drain, which can cause problems. Always wear gloves when working with bleach, and know that you really don’t need bleach at all—vinegar, baking soda, salt, and ice should do the trick.

The best way to unclog a bathtub drain is to pour a pot of boiled water down the drain, being careful not to splash yourself. However, take precautions, as boiling water can damage PVC pipes and joints. Follow up with ½ cup of baking soda and ½ cup of vinegar. Cover the drain with a small sink plunger and let it sit for 15 minutes. Pour boiling water down the drain again and replace the drain stopper.
