"Response from King Delivery: We appreciate the opportunity to clarify the circumstances surrounding this move. Our crew at pickup was rated five stars by the customer, and we were notified of the move only a week and a half prior right before the July 4th weekend. Despite the short notice, we worked diligently to accommodate the schedule. We advised the customer to check with the City of San Francisco and the HOA regarding delivery logistics, which had not been arranged until we brought it to his attention. Our driver traveled over 750 miles and arrived in the evening due to holiday traffic. Although we requested a Monday delivery to ensure proper staffing, the customer insisted on Saturday, July 5th, as he had reserved that date with the HOA. We honored that request, even though our crew was off for the holiday weekend. The delivery involved a long carry of approximately 300 linear feet and use of an elevator, which our driver managed alone under challenging conditions. Regarding liability coverage, the customer declined additional protection and opted for the standard valuation, which is industry standard. While we understand that cultural differences may affect expectations around U.S. holidays, we strive to treat all customers with respect and professionalism. We regret that this experience did not meet his expectations, but we stand by the effort and commitment our team showed under difficult circumstances."
