"Alan came out same day within couple of hours to clear a clogged bathtub drain. Worked on it for some time, went above and beyond to get it drained but no luck' House is 50 + years old with cast iron pipes so I was not surprised when he said ones under the tub needed to be replaced. Had been giving us trouble for several years and had been getting worse. He wrote a proposal and said he could do the next day as it was too late to start that day. James the owner showed up early next morning and went over what needed to be done. Gave a fair price and Alan showed up hr or so later and got started. Worked all day bless his heart. Got drain running smoothly. It's been about 2 weeks and all still going great. Have had a number of plumbing jobs done in the past by different companies but James Degennaro was by far the best. Both he and Alan were great and professional and did great work and clean up. .Would absolutely hire again and recommend . So glad I found them. "Had front door which became stuck and hard to open and shut which suddenly loosened up with winter rain.  Observed cracks in paint and plaster in various locations in house.  Want to do remodeling but afraid to start if I had foundation issues.  Was told how ground undulates with weather conditions and what was normal.
Front door needs hinges replaced and be re-hung; cracks were superficial and suggested drywall, plaster repair before repainting; caulking where wall and chimney bricks meet in hallway; landscaping to make sure water drained downhill toward street; said foundation looked fine and was already bolted to house.
This was free and Mark's reassurance was greatly appreciated.  The company had done foundation repair work five years earlier and I was happy with them then, and still happy now.  He made sure I understood what was going on and why it happened.
