They power washed, repaired stucco, caulked all joints, masked, used drop clothes everywhere and painted stucco and trim. All painted lines were sharp and clean. "While shopping for prices to get my home painted it seemed like I was surrounded by neighbors who were all getting their houses painted at the same time. After talking to the neighbors and seeing what they were all paying, roughly around $2,500, i noticed that the work was taking 3-4 days for a full exterior paint job with only two colors. I was recommended to King of the Painters through a family friend where he put me in direct contact with Joey Atkins. I told Joey exactly what I wanted done so he set up an appointment at my convenience to see how King of the Painters could help me. I wanted 5 different colors on my house to break up certain sections, joey came in and gave his professional advice on what colors he thought best suited each other and matched. When the appointment was over Joey had gave me a quote, helped me pick out colors with his color chart, explained his scope of work and finally set up a day to do the work. To my surprise King of the Painters got right on the work with in a few business days. After seeing how long it took other neighbors to get their houses painted I was expecting my job to take a little longer considering I was using 5 different colors, but this was not the case. King of the Painters started and completed my project in just two days with clean up and everything. Though the price was a couple hundred dollars higher I was completely satisfied with the extra money because I could see the difference between my home and the neighbors homes that were recently painted. King of the Painters crew showed up most respect to my family and our belongings. I would highly recommend this company to any one looking for a paint job done at a good price and a job done noticeably better then there competitors.

"We used Nigel and the Painting Company's service over 6 months ago and would have used them with our most recent project had they been available. We were very pleased with their service and the job they provided us, so much so that they have set a high standard for other painters/contractors we hire.

Nigel came out and did an estimate on our Kitchen, Dining Room, Living Room (walls and ceiling), stair case, bathroom and laundry room. We were happy with the estimate and decided to move forward, he suggested we give him the swatches of our chosen colors as he gets a better deal on the paint because he is a contractor, rather than us picking it up ourselves at the hardware store.

He had two painters working at our place for two days and they did an amazing job. The paint looks fantastic, and they took plenty of time to move all of the furniture to the center of the rooms, they covered all flooring and furniture in plastic and everything was fully protected. They were very friendly and even brought my husband tamales on one of the mornings! There was no mess for us to clean up after they finished the paint job and they regularly checked with us to see how we liked what they had done so far, which as a homeowner, is very reassuring.

"I shopped around with other window and stucco/paint contractors before I chose Approved Contractor. Justin gave me a very detailed quote and worked with me to help me decide and define exactly what I wanted. He convinced me to go with the elastomeric coating over doing a re-stucco job because of its benefits of heat reflection, waterproofing, and it was basically the same price when you include the painting of all the eaves and trim on the house. I received a very fair price for each of the items and services, so decided to go with him for my entire home improvement project. Everything went quite smoothly despite delays of materials from suppliers due to COVID. Justin kept me informed as to progress of the manufacture and delivery of the windows, and was very responsive to my questions. The subcontractors he used to perform the work were all very skilled and professional. There were quite a few different people involved because of all the different things I was having done, so it got confusing at times when someone came to the door to do the day's work. In all, it took about 1 week to install 25 windows on my 2 story house (including sliding glass door), and 1 week to do the prep and paint/coating work. A few thousand $ in extra, unexpected expenses popped up, like replacing some dry-rot wood, extra stucco work around my new front door, and extra tiles for the new roof area, but Justin offered most of those additions to the contract at cost. I also know that there are often unexpected things that happen with new construction or reconstruction that cannot be seen and bid on beforehand, so I didn't feel like I was being taken to the cleaners with the extra costs. My house looks beautiful now, and I feel I made a very good investment, and a very good decision to go with Approved Contractor, Inc."
