Greg has done an amazing job with our deck in PQ. Ours was crumbling, so he did a complete demo and then rebuild. He used high-quality material and his workmanship is extremely good, he knows what he is doing with every detail. His guy was also great and they finished the job earlier than I expected. Very hard-working guy. Honest and easy to work with. He did the stairs exactly like we wanted them and they are work of art everyone loves them now. When we needed him to come to check a few things after the job is done, he came back and helped out with them as well.

5 stars across the board. One of the best and easiest contractor experiences I've ever had. He can't be beat; price, quality, and efficiency. They showed up at 7:30 & worked until 4. We have an old storage shed that was in the way that was definitely too heavy to move. They took things out, moved it and placed everything back. At one point it rained, they packed their tools and I thought they were going to leave for the day. Instead, they waited in their car until the rain stopped then went right back to work. I'm just all around impressed by their work and professionalism. I'm so happy with our new, sturdy, and beautiful deck. I couldn't recommend anyone better!

I am very happy with the deck replacement and house painting done by Greg and Horatio. The deck appears much sturdier than the previous one and the painting on my two-story house looks great. They were fantastic workers, polite and pleasant. Greg came out the day after I phoned and gave me an estimate that evening. Other companies took longer to respond. Greg's estimate was the lowest and he was able to start work as soon as I was ready. I highly recommend Veria Construction.

After meeting with 3-4 other contractors we decided to go with Veria Construction. Greg is honest, hard working and shows up every day until the project is done. There was one day he could not come but he notified us via text that morning. Our deck plans had to change some due to neighbor's complaints and Greg was flexible enough to accommodate us with the time we needed to resolve the issue and modify plans. The additional cost that came out of the plans changing was reasonable. Since we were working from home during this project it was easy to check in every day and discuss any decisions that had to be made...All in all, I'd definitely recommend Greg as our deck came out looking great.

I was planning to do my backyard deck and I was looking for contractors on the internet. After looking and talking to more than five contractors I decided to go with Veria Construction. Their work was excellent and very professional from start to finish. They finished the project on time and with no problem. Veria construction has accountable and high quality workers. I am very happy with the results and now I have a new and an amazing deck. I highly recommend it.

I could not be happier! Ghegg and his crew did an amazing job. They showed up on time everyday until the job was done. I had a rotten, splintered deck that was over 30 yrs. old with a Jacuzzi. They took it out and replaced everything --even painted it. The Cedar deck is beautiful and the price was right. These guys rate 5 stars + they are honest and know their stuff. I would use them again very soon.

As an interior designer over 25 years I have dealt and worked with men like this in a predominantly male profession of contractors and laborers throughout my career, but I have never feared for my safety until now. I feel badly leaving a negative review on Gregory because he is a skilled carpenter, his work was 4-star quality. But he has a problem with women, no respect, terrible listener, bad temper and anger issues. It was clear he did not "like" me, so I stayed away from him. Offered coffee each morning and the most I spoke to him was about a larger project we wanted to hire him for inside. He was better behaved dealing with my husband once he arrived. I did not speak to him the last day as I packed to leave our vacation home. Greg knew my husband left the day before when he asked to use our bathroom. He entered my home, closed the door, and then began yelling at me, waving his hands and pointing his finger at me. Knowing I was giving him a check and leaving he needed to give me a piece of his mind. I cannot recall the last time a man frightened me like this. He paid no attention to me backing up to an exit door or hands up in surrender asking him to calm down. I repeatedly apologized if I offended him in efforts to calm him and get him out, but he shouted over me until he was finished. Unprofessional to treat a client like this and in today's society to treat a woman like this, alone, in a small space, her home, behind closed doors is unacceptable behavior. He was completely oblivious to how frightened I was. My husband returned 3 days later to check the project and pay the balance, he asked Gregory why he spoke to me like that, that he would never speak to his wife like that or any woman. How he frightened me so much that I went to our rental office and had a man escort me twice because I was afraid to even give him a check by myself and to apologize to us both. Greg refused said his wife was a Doctor? and that I attacked him- all 110 lbs of me attacked against his 300 lbs? Greg said I asked the rental manager to help me move something, not because of fear- really? I used that as an excuse silly man- I could have texted that request - I needed you to see a man's presence for my protection until I was ready to leave. My husband cancelled our future work orders saying we would leave this review. Gregory's anger rose again, yelling and pointing his finger- for us not to. If you only have men living where you need work done, as I said Greg's work is very good but if there are women in your home I cannot in good conscious recommend him even though I worry about repercussions from a man like this. In my years of experience, it is usually the wife that is there as the work is being done. I never want another woman to be put in this position especial if Greg decides he doesn't like her personality. It's clear our initial impression was a facade masking his anger problems. I am not an "angry woman" writing this I was a scared fearful woman. Home advisor has the details of the ridiculous event Greg told my husband that made him so angry and festered over it for 3 1/2 days and wait till I was alone to aggressively approach me if you require more information. I wish I were near my phone to have recorded him and call the police. No one should be threatened of their safety from a person you hire to work in your home, especially a woman.

My experience with Greg was excellent from beginning to end. I had planned to hire another company to build a deck on a slope in my backyard, but the deal fell through when the owner got weird after I asked for some flexibility with the payment options. I immediately searched online for another company and was blessed to find Greg and Veria Construction. Greg contacted within a few minutes of my online inquiry, answer all my questions over the phone, provided an estimate, and showed up the following business day to do a walk-through and provide a final quote. To my surprise, his quote was below the quote I got from the previous company. Greg was flexible with the schedule and payment options, and we got the project started that same week. Once they arrived, his crew worked diligently on the site as planned. They kept to themselves and kept the noise level to a minimum. Most of the time, I did not even notice they were working in the backyard! Once the job was near completion, Greg came to put on finishing touches and to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. I am very pleased with his customer service, his sense of ownership, and the quality of work. They were able to build the deck to my exact needs with minimal instructions. My neighbors were so impressed that they had come over to inquire about the deck as well. Great experience. Thank you, Greg!

Great in every way!! Started Dec 19 and worked like Santa's elves. They arrive at 7:30 and work til 5:30 and bring their lunch and drinks. They are organized, diligent and Greg is honest and provides great value ( he was half my first estimate to save my pool from going down the hill!) Mine was a specialized concrete project and the slabs had to be jacked up and 85 bags of concrete had to be put under the slabs to form a retaining wall. Then they built a deck and put together a large gazebo. Everything went so well I hired them to finish off my garage and they did THAT quickly and for a good price. Being GREEK descent, Greg knows how to make atone and concrete and rooms that will LAST. He also fixed some plumbing that another handyman did that didn't work. He is pleasant, amenable to changes . Greg built a large redwood deck for us 3 years ago. This time we needed a another old deck torn down and replaced. Once again Greg and his crew did a great job for us. We plan on having him come back next year to replace our entryway deck.

REVIEW OF VERIA CONSTRUCTION WORK For Home Advisor I needed decks and verandah replacements prior to placing my home in the real-estate market for sale. New decks and railings were seen as a way to prevent difficulty in selling and to even enhance the sale price of the home. After selecting four possible contractors on Home Advisor, only one (Veria Construction of San Diego) reacted. Within two days of announcing I would entertain quotes, Greg Gianosopolos, the owner of Veria Construction, visited my home to assess the tasks and provide a quote. I had a limit on the amount I would pay for the work. The job entailed removal and replacement of two outside, second-floor decks. As well, there were two verandahs on my home each of which had a railing that should match the railings on the decks. Veria Construction was the only quote/reply I received through Home Advisor. Since its proposal was only a few hundred dollars above my uninformed estimate, I accepted the proposal. I did not micromanage the work. I let Greg G. select the deck design and how it would be constructed. The vague instruction I offered was to make the new construction fit in with the existing home design. Allowing Veria Construction free reign on completing the work was a sound decision. I found that Greg G. was notably honorable in his work and was driven to produce end-products with which he and I would be both pleased and proud. The demolition and construction proceeded at an admirable speed. It eventually took longer than the initial time-estimate provided in Veria Construction's proposal. Work started two weeks after the first contact through Home Advisor. The peak workforce on our property consisted of three assistants/laborers and Greg G. All were particularly courteous and responsible in the few interactions I had with them. Their work was highly skilled and indicative of first-rate craftsmen. The type of work and design selected by Greg G. was a marvelous match for my home. In comparison to my previous decks, the new ones were particularly sturdy and the materials used were of the highest quality. Although the work carried out was during a typical San Diego heat-wave, that did not alter the quality of the constructions although I was concerned about any toll the excessive heat might have had on the workers. The major results of Veria Construction's additions and modifications to my home were: 1. The additions have enhanced the value of my home, which will be reflected in the sale price once it goes on the market. 2. The quality of work was of such a high standard that I have no need to do follow-up work on my own. 3. Normally, I would expect myself to monitor the work when having construction done on my home. However, Greg G. and his assistants/laborers were so trustworthy and responsible that I had no need for anxiety at any time they were on my property and involved with the construction. 4. I have no hesitation in recommending Veria Construction for any home additions and alterations. Indeed, they will be my priority for any work on a home I or my family members might have in the future. 5. I cannot relate any negative occurrence with Veria Construction. I am left with deep gratitude and admiration for the work completed on my current home and can only wish that other home-owners might experience the ultimate satisfaction that I had as the project described on Home Advisor was completed. Without any reservations, I recommend to any home owner that they seriously consider Veria Construction of San Diego for any home rebuilds or modifications in the area.
