"It went great. I was so nervous about picking the right color since our house was white and we wanted a change. We gave him a sample color from a blue house that we had seen and liked. Joey matched the sample and gave us 3 additional similar colors to compare. Then we changed our mind and picked totally different colors including grey, tan, and yellow. Joey was so helpful and patient. He got the new samples and put them on the house. We finally decided to go with out original blue sample and gave him the go ahead. His company painted the house and fence and it looks great! The neighbors have given us several compliments on the new color of the house and fence.

"We used Nigel and the Painting Company's service over 6 months ago and would have used them with our most recent project had they been available. We were very pleased with their service and the job they provided us, so much so that they have set a high standard for other painters/contractors we hire.

Nigel came out and did an estimate on our Kitchen, Dining Room, Living Room (walls and ceiling), stair case, bathroom and laundry room. We were happy with the estimate and decided to move forward, he suggested we give him the swatches of our chosen colors as he gets a better deal on the paint because he is a contractor, rather than us picking it up ourselves at the hardware store.

He had two painters working at our place for two days and they did an amazing job. The paint looks fantastic, and they took plenty of time to move all of the furniture to the center of the rooms, they covered all flooring and furniture in plastic and everything was fully protected. They were very friendly and even brought my husband tamales on one of the mornings! There was no mess for us to clean up after they finished the paint job and they regularly checked with us to see how we liked what they had done so far, which as a homeowner, is very reassuring.

"I was browsing Angie's list for exterior painters, I like to read  the reviews and compare prices.  The next day after getting an email from Angie's List about a deal from one of the companies I had looked at, I called about an estimate.  I spoke with Justin and arranged a meeting.  I liked him right away, he explained his product because it's guaranteed for life, even had a sample you could  feel, it's really quite unique. We walked around the house and then he took some measurements. He then explained the entire process which would take a week.  They would power wash the house, they dig a trench around the house because the paint is also waterproofing the stucco, they patch and sand everything smooth, then they would start on the wood and I had a lot of wood, not only on the house but a deck off the front of the house and a 4" fence around the front yard. He broke everything down for me, the cost of the job with or without the deck and fence.  I was impressed with the amount of work it was going to take to get the house prepared for paint, which Justin said was the most important part and now I know why.  I took a deep breath and said let's do it!  Justin left me some color samples and addresses of some of the houses he had done.  I went to all the addresses he gave me and took in all the details of those jobs.  The colors weren't important but the finished look of those houses was amazing.  It was quality workmanship.  The hardest thing for me was the color scheme.  Justin wanted me to meet with Jesus, who along with his crew, would be doing the work.  Jesus is a friendly, helpful, organized, accommodating and hard working guy, I think the world of him.  He helped me with so many decisions from color choices to light fixtures and even a doorbell.  He and his crew of men are a well oiled machine and you can tell they all like each other.  They would get here at 8am and work their butts off, take a break for lunch and back at it. One day at 4:30 they started cleaning up and I went outside and said cleaning up?  And Jesus said yeah already, with it getting dark so early we have too, I looked at him and said "already?" I was in the house saying oh finally !!  No matter how bad the house may have looked each day, when they left for the day this place was clean.  I appreciated that.  My house is done, I am very happy, it was money well spent.  Justin, Jesus and the guys, thank you so very much.
