I was originally going to get both the rodent and insect treatments, but after checking the product label for the rat bait, I realized the rodent treatment is highly toxic and will enter the food chain. I asked Mark not to market the bait traps as Eco-friendly, because they are certainly not. Our garden has mostly native or drought tolerant plants. Many of them attract birds, bees and other insects. We have chickens in the back yard as well as wild bird feeders and our small dogs use the yard many times daily. I didn't want to risk introducing toxins into the yard. Because of my concerns about toxicity, Mark decided to use the non-toxic insect treatment (around the perimeter of the foundation only) and do web sweeping. Since the treatment was completed a week ago, I still see ants a few feet away from the house, but we have none inside. This was my primary concern. I'll decide after my first contract year if the service is worth the price. So far so good."
