"When they were inspecting, they pretty much gave me the details about what was going on. They told me what the affected areas were. They gave me different options and told me which option was better in my case. They would let one know if it was more expensive or not. The price did really come into the equation as far as I was concerned because I have a smaller attic, so they had a smaller person come in. They were really good. I would definitely recommend them. After the three-year contract, I can do it annually. They will take care of it, if there is any issue."

"Kyle is an awesome guy with an awesome beard and he will handle any rodent related issues you might be having. Kyle came to my house in Brentwood and located a nasty rat that had found it’s way under my house and died. That right there ladies and gentlemen is a service that I found to be extremely valuable. Your local pest control service won’t find that dead animal and remove it for you. They just set and check traps and bounce. So….After removing the dead stinky rat, Kyle examined the crawl space and attic for any areas pests may gaining access….sealed em up. No more rat problems! Kyle knows his stuff, he’s not creepy and he’s an overall nice guy. You have an animal pest problem?! Call this dude!!"

Bird Control questions, answered by experts

It is possible, though unlikely, that a home insurance policy will help cover the costs of professional bat removal. However, some policies will chip in for guano removal and associated repairs, such as replacing drywall. Take some time to read the fine print of your homeowner’s insurance policy and call your provider to inquire about bat removal, guano removal, and related repairs.

Cockroaches, ants, flies, bed bugs, and termites are common in business environments.

Yes, in some cases if your damper is left open, animals can come down your chimney. In these instances, it’s more likely that they have fallen in while looking for a safe spot rather than entered your house intentionally. Leaving your damper closed or installing a chimney cap can prevent animals from coming inside.

No, you shouldn’t have to worry about bats in your yard as long as they don’t make their way inside your house. Typically, bats hang around backyards in order to consume bugs, especially if they’re located in the U.S. Bats that are native to North America can consume more than 500 bugs per hour, so they may actually benefit your yard if mosquitoes are prevalent.

It can be difficult to know what type of animal is in your attic until you see it. But several clues can help you narrow down the suspects:

  • Sounds: Smaller animals like rats and mice make scurrying and tapping/gnawing sounds. Larger animals like raccoons and opossums make louder clambering noises. Also, note when animals are noisy: Squirrels are active during the day, while rats are busiest at night.

  • Droppings: Rats and mice leave small, rice-shaped droppings (the rat’s version is significantly larger). Bigger droppings belong to larger critters like raccoons. As long as you’re not squeamish, an image search can help you identify what you’re seeing in your attic.

When in doubt, take photos of damage or other evidence and show them to an experienced pest control pro.
