"I hired Falcon Landscape for roof cleaning and weed removal. To their credit, the actual work was done carefully and the results looked good. The roof cleaning was thorough, and the yard was cleared effectively. The estimate for the work itself also seemed fair and reasonable. However, the experience was impacted by how cleanup and disposal were handled. After removing a large volume of weeds, they did not take the debris with them and instead asked me to dispose of it in my own trash bins. This resulted in over 15 bags of yard waste, which did not fully fit, and when they ran out of bags, they left the remaining weeds piled in the middle of my backyard. When I questioned this, I was told disposal was not included in the contract and would cost an additional $200. While I understand contract terms, weed removal in my experience includes disposal. This lack of upfront clarity felt misleading.Overall, decent work quality, but disappointing handling of cleanup and communication"

"Daniel and Blanca are an amazing team! Together, they worked on two great projects and provided excellent recommendations and service. I had interviewed different companies to prune my two trees. Their effort and lack of interest made a huge impression on me. They just did not care. So different with Daniel and Blanca! They are thoughtful, kind and so hard working. I look forward to building my dream yard with Soto Landscaping."

"Mr. Hoang did a beautiful job putting in a concrete walkway at the side of my home. He completed the work in two days. He listened to my needs and concerns and got it right. I would not hesitate having him perform more work in the future as well as recommending him to others."

"Mauricio from Solid Ground Landscaping LLC is an incredible gardener, handyman, landscaper, etc. and there is pretty much nothing that he cannot do with amazing talent! He came very highly recommended and got to work the same day with a very hard working crew, punctual and ready to work and did above and beyond what I asked him to do. He knows how to do everything (handyman, electrician, plumbing, pavers, sprinklers, junk removal, cement and patio work, and so much more!) He is truly your Go To Guy! I truly value and respect our working relationship and his overall work ethic. He will not let you down! I can usually call him and he is often times available to work that same day! His prices are also very reasonable for the high quality of work he provides. No job. Is too small or too large for his company to take on! He is truly the best!"

If you have a large area of brush and vegetation to clear, forestry mulching may be the best option. This method works well for relatively flat areas that don’t have many large rocks or mature trees to clear. Forestry mulching is a relatively quick process that improves soil health, reduces fire risk, and leaves behind usable mulch.

No, cleaning dog poop off artificial grass is straightforward. First, you’ll remove all the solid poop and place it in a bag. Then, you’ll use a homemade liquid dish soap and water solution to help wash and sanitize the area. Finally, you’ll hose the area with water to remove the soapy solution and odor.

No, it’s not necessary to remove all the leaves from your lawn—in fact, leaving some behind can be beneficial. While it's important to clear thick layers of leaves that can smother your grass, leaving a light scattering of leaves can help feed your soil while also providing safe winter habitat for pollinators like bumble bees. Leftover leaves will eventually break down, enriching the soil and promoting healthy lawn growth.

Skunk digging looks like a series of small, cone-shaped holes on a lawn or around the perimeter of a home, porch, deck, or shed. The holes that skunks dig when searching for grubs tend to be no more than four inches in diameter and may be up to four inches deep.

It’s unlikely your leaves are a hazard, especially if you get to them while they’re dry. However, a couple of rare risks exist. University studies suggest that decaying leaves can produce organochlorines, toxic pollutants similar to man-made PCBs (polychlorinated biphenyls), so avoid keeping them in an enclosed area.

Also, leaves and compost may cause the growth of fungi that can cause diseases like histoplasmosis and aspergillosis, as well as mold spores that are unhealthy for human lungs. Again, severe issues are rare, but those with compromised immune systems or allergies to mold should wear face masks when directly handling leaves.
