"I hired Hillcrest Landscaping owned by Saul Martinez to repair or replace our old sprinkler heads and pour some concrete to finish up a sidewalk. That was in September and I have regretted it since. Do not hire this company. He is not trustworthy. He left on a Friday, said he would be back on Monday to finish up the work. I know you don't pay until the job is done but I did it and I won't do it again. Lesson learned. He got paid to finish the job and didn't. No phone call from anyone from Hillcrest Landscaping. No one came to finish up the work he said he would finish. He has been here once since with the assurance that he would be back to finish my project and I am still waiting. No call no show, again. I now have to do it myself. Some of the work will have to be hired out. Even though I have already paid Hillcrest Landscaping for the work. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!! "

"Did an excellent job overall, Replaced the service line from meter to house. Arrived before schedule, started the job early, were very quiet and did not disturb the neighbors, or me! Had me inspect as they went along. Did not disturb existing old plumbing for our well,, or the PVC for the sprinklers. Would definitely use them again and have given another neighbor their contact info for possible future problem they are concerned about."

"Very disappointed. This guy is a crook. I paid way too much for what he did and he did not do the work properly. He replaced pipes that were leaking from our upstairs shower. I had another leak a few weeks after he did the repair. 2nd leak was not related to the pipes he repaired, but the 2nd plumber who came out for the 2nd leak had to cut into the ceiling where HK&S Plumbing replaced the pipes and told me that the work was not done properly. He did not glue the pipes properly and he used a rubber coupling that is not allowed in California. The other plumbing company said they would fix his work for 65% less than what I paid HK&S. When I asked HK&S about all this, he gave excuses about the small space and how much more work it would have been to do the work the right way. When I asked him again for a refund, he is now saying his work will last "forever" (really?) and has nothing to say about what he did wrong. He is not giving me a refund. Not sure I will use anyone thru Angi again."

Harris cleared space for the new pipes, sketched the floor plan, and confirmed materials. Jessy and Amari replaced all horizontal drain lines—including the garage sink, washer, kitchen sink, two toilets, shower, and two sinks—in tough conditions under the house. This started after another company gave me a flat-fee quote based on “two bathrooms.” Oak Plumbing’s quote was more detailed and more accurate for my 1950s home with 1.5 baths and mixed old materials. Their bid was over 10% better, and I left a deposit that day. I’m grateful for how quickly they solved the problem, especially days before Thanksgiving. As a single mother who relies on Angie’s List, this experience fully met expectations. I highly recommend Oak Plumbing."

"The plumbing technicians came out as promised to assess the leak. They were both very courteous and kind and assessed the damage. I am giving three stars because they estimated the cost to be almost 250% higher than what the actual cost was to fix the issue. I am sure there are customers out there that would just accept any bid however, please get multiple beds for these projects, especially when working with this company as they will inflate the cost to take advantage of the situation. I ended up only paying for the $79 estimate."
