"This was my first purchase of a Angie's List special.  I am very pleased with this company.  The provided excellent communication, prompt response, on-time arrival and a bargain for the amount of work that was done.  They restored the areas I requested.  I would recommend them and WILL definitely use them again.
I choose this company because the work to be performed was minor & it seemed to me that several of the granite companies were looking for bigger jobs, based on the amounts of money that was spent by reviewers.  I use this technique often for vendors.  I do not like to be overcharged, nor do I like compnaies to try to sell me additional stuff.  I use a "don't contact me - I'll contact you" approach and do not like unsolicited marketing or advertising (including from Angie's List).
I bought the service over the weekend.  The owner contacted me during the weekend to let me know that he was not able to telephone me because the number listed in my Angie's List account was old and was no longer my number.  I gave 3 dates for the work to be performed, and they were able to come out this morning - just a few days after requesting the service (and over a weekend).
The technician arrived at about 8:30 am - the service was scheduled beween 8-10 am.  I showed him what I wanted done and he began work immediately.  He worked quietly and efficiently.  He was here nearly two hours and restored the areas I requested.  There was no extra charge and he did not try to sell me anything else (I like that).  I am very pleased with the work and the price.  Last week I hired a plumber that charged me $99. just to get to the house!
Do be sure to tip the technician if you are completely satisfied.

"I had a new exterior flagstone patio installed on my newly purchased home that was done by a different construction company that was not Pacificland Constructors. I made the mistake of going with the cheapest quote for my flagstone patio. I was not satisfied at all with the result because it was Poorly done, fast paced, and the contractor that I was working with seemed like he didn't know what he was doing. The flagstone they were installing began to crack when we walked on it and piece of the stone were loose and properly installed. So I had to stop work and let go of the old contractor. Pacificland Constructors tore out the old flagstone patio and reconstructed my new patio by properly installing a concrete base and then installed my new flagstone. They also constructed new stone veneer pilasters around the patio columns. I wish I had done more research when I first decided that I wanted to do this project on my home because it would've saved me time, money and several headaches dealing with the first contractor. Overall, I would recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a great quality contractor and I am extremely happy with the quality of the work.
