They're very good.  He did a good job and I'm going to use them this year.  I was very satisfied with the service.  The guy was very good in his business.

I bought the Big Deal which was just for a single top coat to reseal the deck surface.  However, my deck was in a little bit worse shape than the deal allowed.  However, Ryan was awesome and added in sanding and then did the reseal for no additional charge.  The surface is not perfect but that is due to the rough pre-condition it was in and not his fault.  Shortly after the reseal the deck drains started leaking in to the garage below.  Ryan and crew came out again to fix the drain at no additional cost.  Again, this was not in the deal I bought but they provide such great customer service.  I would definitely use them again and will recommend them to friends and neighbors!

We had a slow start at first but that was not because of Ryan's service, we originally contacted him in February and was on his schedule for February 24th, however the current Job he was working took longer as the job apparently had grown into a longer job.  So we scheduled to February 27th, and then the rain started we had several much needed storms coming in and it was very important that the decks were totally dry before coating and it had to be dry for at least 48 hours after the coating.  Our next schedule was on April 8th due to March being off and on rain.
When Ryan arrived at 10:00 in the morning he brought the material the his crew would need to complete the job, his crew was a little late but once the started the job they did a very efficient job and cleaned up after they were done they were very pleasant and professional. All in all we are very happy with Ryan and his crew.

It went very well!  They were really professional and I had them also repair some weak spots.  They were also very accommodating to the tenants.

Ryan is amazing.  He did more than just "stain" our concrete - he's an artist.  We worked together on colors and designs, but ultimately it's Ryan's artistic capabilities that lead to a beautiful statement.
Our first contact with Ryan set the tone for out relationship.  We sent an email via his website and received a reply within minutes.  He arrived early for our first appointment and he was exactly on time for all subsequent meetings.  This meant a lot to us since we didn't have the same experience with previous contractors.
Ryan is honest, capable and a joy to work with.  I just wish we had more work for him to do - he's amazing.

Showed up right on time, ready to work.  Work was completed on schedule.   Pleasure to work with Ryan and would definitely recommend him.

Overall the job took the better part of a week and from our perspective was a success.  Ryan worked with us in selecting
the right color for the stain.  He carefully removed and replaced the numerous potted plants we had on the deck and left
the work area in a clean condition.  The patio and balcony look great and our only regret is that we didn't do it earlier.

We had a second story deck that was leaking water into the garage. We got 4 companies to come and give us a quote.  Two of them were cheaper but they seemed as puzzled as we were about what to do and could not guarantee from future problems. The other company suggested rebuilding the entire deck and was way out of budget. Ryan from Monarch Custom Coatings came with a sample that had several layers to waterproof the deck - we were very impressed that he was very knowledgeable and has a lot of experience with this type of work. He and his crew worked very hard, always professional, prompt, courteous, and our deck looks amazing now. We were so happy with them that we hired them again to redo the garage floors. We have had bad experiences in the past with contractors, so we know that finding a good, reliable, and honest one is very hard and rare. We highly recommend Monarch Custom Coatings!

They agreed to work on the weekend as this is an office building. They arrived early Saturday and worked late each day to ensure the job was completed AHEAD of schedule. They sent pictures throughout the day which was nice to see how the job was coming along without interferring with the jobat hand. The floors look good and I'm a happy customer

We were looking for someone who could rehab our front courtyard cement. The cement itself was sound (no cracks breaks, etc.) but it was badly stained and faded. One other contractor said the only thing we could do was tear it all out and pour new concrete, which was way out of our budget. He pretty much poo-poohed the idea of staining the concrete, saying he'd "never seen a good stain job." I found Ryan on Angies List, called him and he came right over. he showed me photos of other staining jobs he had done, both interior and exterior, and they looked great. He answered my questions about durability and how long we could expect the staining to last before we had to rehab it and  provided me with a precise written estimate that same day. Ryan and his crew showed up as scheduled and did a terrific job. Ryan was there himself for most of the job to supervise things and his crew was very thorough. They prepped the concrete and added some texture to make it look like tile or slate and then applied the color. Once we approved the final color, they applied the sealer and it looked fantastic! We can't wait to put down our patio furniture and plants. The only problem is, the concrete looks so good, we may have to buy new patio furniture because now the old stuff looks so crappy!  I would strongly recommend Ryan and Monarch Construction in Temecula for anyone who is tired of looking at old faded and stained concrete whether indoors or outside. They have the expertise and experience to breath new life into the old concrete, they're honest and punctual and their prices are very fair.  Exceptional value and quality service - about as good as it gets.

The company and Ryan were great beyond expectation! They came in as the lowest bid for my outside deck refinishing and even threw in another small project for the estimated price. They worked fast and did more than I expected to make sure the project was done right. I had estimates and replies to my messages within a few hours. I would use them again without hesitation!
