"Everything went perfectly.  I arranged the move a couple of weeks in advance.  Jamaal was the only mover I contacted who could do the move exactly when I wanted to do it, and his price--a flat rate, not an estimate--was $700 lower than the next company and $1100 less than the third one.  He and his helper arrived a few minutes early and loaded the truck in 4-5 hours, then drove to San Diego.  I left about 90 minutes after they did and arrived about an hour ahead of them.  It took them another 4 hours or so to unload the truck and put the bed back together.  Then, to my amazement, they drove back to Phoenix the same night.  Now that I've unpacked almost everything except books, I can say with some confidence that there's no damage, loss, or breakage.  In all aspects of the process, Jamaal was totally professional and dependable.  He also offered some valuable tips on packing.

Arranged with Joe on pretty short notice to do the move.  We had just a phone call or two - he picked up both times, no recording or telephone tag - and he arrive on schedule. There was a very minor pushback of scheduling time but Joe called to let me know, which was great.  Joe and one helper moved everything into the unit on a VERY HOT day when apparently, to our surprise, the cooling system had not yet been turned on. Never a word of complaint from either Joe or his helper.  Joe apparently has a lot of years of experience and he was great at both the moving part and the placement part, which is held the battle when moving into a storage unit. He handled my furniture and boxes beautifully and carefully protected our newly painted walls.  Couldn't have asked for a better move and would hire him again in a heartbeat.  "
