"We chose 2nd Generation Flooring based on reviews which is why I think it's so important for me to provide this one. I also think it's very important to note that the "negative" reviews are from people who have never actually worked with 2nd Generation Tile ... AND that the owner, Mike, responded to each of them which speaks to his professionalism and work ethic. We purchased a 2200sf home knowing that we would tear out every square inch of the existing tile, laminate, carpet and tiny baseboards. Mike was extremely responsive, patient and personable throughout the quoting process. Knowing that we wanted to get into the house as soon as possible, Mike had Ted start the work almost immediately after we received the keys. As a one-man crew, the project took 4 weeks which is exactly what they estimated. After the flooring was completed, we also added a kitchen backsplash to the scope of work.
