They did a great job. Tore out the old reinstalled new tile .Completely done in 2 days.

Empire Today only contracted one person to do the entire carpet job and it took him all day he didn't even stop for lunch. He didn't speak English and he plugged in his phone charger without asking and helped himself to the fridge and left cigarette butts outside in the front. He seemed upset that he was doing all the work himself. I called Empire customer service just to be told I had to be transferred to a line that went to voicemail and I never heard back. But the job got done and the quality of the carpet is good for the price.

Our installers were the worst!! Made a mess of everything. Tore apart our closets treating our clothes like trash. A disgrace, especially when we were in the house the entire time they were installing and could have asked us to do anything. On top of everything, they disconnected our sleep number bed and at the end told us they didn't know how to set it up again, costing us extra money $$ on top of payment $$$.

They wonâ t come it it is raining. They called me on the day of my appointment at 10am to re-schedule my appointment. The rain had happened earlier that morning and never came again which is very annoying. I was forced to re-scheduled my appointment and then called to confirm my day and they had not put it on the correct day I had asked. If I hadnâ t called to confirm I would have not been home for the installation people.

Only 1 installer sent. I had to help him move the furniture. When empire says they will move the furniture, they are lying.

Install was great, but the installers pulled a towel rack off the wall in our bathroom tried to repair it covered with towels and did not tell us that they did it. I have called Empire numerous times to resolve and keep getting told they will return call have not received callback and it has been 3 weeks so I have filed a complaint with the BBB and Arizona ROC maybe that will light a fire under their A$$.

Not bad. Not great. I did like that the installers moved all the furniture where the carpet was being installed and put it back. Just would have liked to had better padding & carpet. Sales guy convinced me other installers would charge more and had longer fulfillment and wait times. Who knows if that?s the case. It?s been a little over a year since having the carpet installed and it?s showing it?s wear already unfortunately.

Empire was a week late after numerous failures on committed time for installation. Numerous call to customer service to no avail. Installer finally arrive 3 hours late on the 4th appointment. Left my home absolutely filthy scraps and carpet fibers every where without an attempt to clean. Inside of my garage also filthy. Installer spun tires in driveway and landscaping after coming in and accusing me and my painter of stealing his half drank juice. Again numerous calls to customer service. Empire is a company that I would steer away from unless you had no other choice. If you want unprofessional, undependable and not holding to commitments, then this is the one for you.

Worst flooring company I have ever worked with (I remodel homes for a living - I am telling all my contractor buddies and real estate agents to avoid this company). Initial carpet installation date was 10/4 and they were supposed to do 5 bedrooms, 5 closets, and a small linen closet. The installers noticed a bad seam which they pointed out to me; thankfully because it was a noticeable bad seam from the warehouse. They packed up and said they would be out the next day at 11am. The next day I had to call at 3pm to ask WTF? They told me they never planned to be out on Tuesday but instead Wednesday (which didn't work for me because I had other work). They came out Thursday but didn't bring enough carpet to finish all 5 rooms. Again the install team told me they would be back tomorrow first thing in the morning. Guess what? No show, no call again. I call in and I'm told they don't have any more of that carpet in AZ and the earliest it can come from CA is next Wednesday. They finally finish up on that next Wednesday but don't bother cleaning up anything. I understand that shit happens buy the lack of communication is unprofessional. Avoid like the plague.

Empire was the worst company and I only wish I had known how horrible they would be to work with, the carpet co they use did an ok job, it was the tile co they used that I had a big problem with, they tiled the wrong rooms, they left the job unfinished, and not to mention the mess all over the walls and appliances. The sales rep was almost impossible to get ahold of. I Would NEVER recommend Empire to anyone!!

It was easy to get someone to come do the estimate but that is the end of the quality service. The sales rep I spoke with clearly did not listen to what I wanted. The installer showed up and did the project but it was not what I expected. Firstly they did not remove the baseboards as I was told they would instead they install some cheap looking quarter rounds which just look tacky. But the worst issue is the how they did my stairs. I had to fight to get a hold of some in customer service and they send back the installer to redo it yet it is still not done properly. You can clearly see that all the material was not cut correctly and there is some gap spaces in some areas and not to mention that I have to be pointing out all the areas that need to be sealed. This project look like it was done by a amateur . Save the stress choose another company

Horrible customer Service. Called to speak to a supervisor on several occasions because I was unhappy with install. Never received a call back. Was put on hold for 30 minutes one time and was hung up on. These installers left a mess and filled my trash bin with trash and materials. They did not install floors as I was expecting. Rather than remove the existing baseboards, the nailed smaller cheap looking baseboards to the front of my nicer baseboards which looks ridiculous. For the amount I paid, I expected better service. Do not use this company. They do not care about customer satisfaction. I should have checked out their reviews prior to hiring them.

Scheduling sales was easy. Scheduling installation was a different story. Three weeks in, I still have unfinished installation and no follow up from Empire. Terrible experience overall.
