"Ok, now listen. Do not search any further. I just turned around admiring our newly renovated ceramic tile floor by Grout Lines USA. Suddenly I realized what a tremendous piece of work was done. 170 tiles popped loose in our home. But not all of them, so the question was to give up and install a whole new floor or repair and replace the 170. We decided on the latter. Ron Martin is a professional who will make you happy with the result. His workers are very diligent and able. Fast but also most efficient. You WILL be satisfied with the beautiful work they do. CW"

"I'm from ND who winters in AZ. Corbin did a great job fixing our cracked floor tiles here in AZ and at a very reasonable price. (I paid him more than what he was charging.) While visiting with him, I determined that him and his wife are from Illinois and that he has several years of experience! He's also a very personable guy. I definitely recommend him! Arlen"

"Outstanding company! Arrived on time and finished our project in 2 days. They removed carpet from bedrooms and replaced with tiles that were an exact match for the tiles already installed in the house. I highly recommend this company- very professional and flawless installation."

Ceramic Tile questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can tile a shower as a DIY project, and you can save hundreds of dollars in labor costs by doing so. However, you’ll need to rent or buy quite a few tools and supplies for the job, including a saw, tile nippers, and a new shower pan. In terms of the work itself, you should be prepared to tackle a variety of different tasks, including measuring and ordering materials, removing old tile, waterproofing the wall, adding rows of tile, grouting, and more.

Tiling can be DIY with the right tools and skills, but challenges like ensuring evenness and appropriate adhesion often warrant professional handling.

Add a T-shaped spacer to each corner of a tile when placing it. You’ll want to nudge the tiles closer together so the spacers are touching each corner. When you’re done installing your tile, you can remove each spacer, wash them, and use them for your next project.

When tiling over concrete, you should install an anti-fracture membrane after the concrete has been prepared. The anti-fracture membrane acts as a moisture barrier and should be installed to protect the tiles from moisture which helps maintain their integrity. Often, Ditra, a brand name, is used interchangeably with moisture barrier.

It’s not a good idea to lay tile and grout on the same day. The adhesive or thin-set that sticks the tiles to the surface needs plenty of time to dry before you can grout. Wait for 24 to 48 hours, depending on moisture levels in the space. The tiles can become misaligned and more prone to damage if you don’t wait.
