"It went really well initially. Process was smooth, and there was no need to babysit the company. They are much more expensive than other quotes I received, though. I chose to go with them because I thought the increase in price would mean no issues. I was wrong. It took them 10 months to come repair one broken tile that broke on installation...4 phone calls later, no response. My husband posted a poor review of them on Google, and they were out the next day. I am saddened that it took a poor review to encourage this company to fix something 10 months after the fact."

"We are very pleased with the paving work Isaac of That Guy Landscaping did in our yard. He installed 650 square feet of pavers to make a walkway and three large patio areas on yard that had formerly been covered with landscape rock. He also installed new irrigation piping and lines. Isaac is pleasant to work with, meticulous, competent, and competitively priced. Compared to other companies that gave us quotes for the same work, Isaac was a breath of fresh air. "Bait and switch. I obtained multiple quotes for my foundation. Dalinghaus Construction quoted me 19 piers to stabilize my home. I questioned why their competitors were quoting me over 30 piers, and they reassured me I was being over-quoted by their competitors. Long story short, I went with Dalinghaus. During construction, a rep (David F) came by to drop off some tools and found that 19 piers would not be enough. They said I needed 14 more piers (totaling 33 same as their competitors). I am stuck because I cannot leave my home half stabilized. No other reputable company would complete the job if another company started it. I was obligated to move forward with Dalinghaus. No one called to apologize for the misstep. They invoiced me and could care less how much this would affect my family. They proceeded to install14 more piers but left 14 large holes they said backfilling was not part of the scope of work, while the original 19 were backfilled. Insanely strange why they think I wanted 14 large holes at my home. So this is where they gave me a discount. They backfilled the holes for free. Free? It should be included in the work. All in all, why do I have to pay for a mistake of this magnitude? I have tried to work it out with them peacefully but they have not provided me with anything that would make this right. Only excuses why they should not compensate me. They have no integrity. They only care about their reputation at this point (they want my BBB review taken down). I would like to be compensated for the 14 additional piers that were missed from the original quote. 14 additional piers is a completely new job, not an â new work order. They are professionals and should have done a more thorough assessment to provide me with an accurate quote. Their competitors seemed to have done so but I was sadly duped by Dalinghaus. They baited me in and switched the price after the work started. $38k is a lot to lose. I have 2 small children and a home that needs to be completed. Ps. I have been waiting on a resolution for over 2 months now."

"This company arrived late within weeks. They completed the job within a week and made my backyard look beautiful. Pulled a few hairs and teeth coming to an agreement about the price. A few spots were not done to best of there ability. Part of the turf is growing loads of weeds. They did not cut a root from my nearby tree so some of my pavers rose up and broke approximately 4months later. The company no longer answers my messages/texts even when there?s a supposed 1 year warranty and the warranty is still not up as I write this 8 months later. They also took the reaming pavers and turf they bough for my home ?for the warranty? but have not returned a text?. To summarize, this is a one and done big job company. "

"This was the second company I had come look at the leak in my toilet. The first one I thought was expensive. However he only wanted to replace the wax ring for the toilet for $600. So I contacted Angie's list and they sent out master router who to my surprise said I had a major problem in my home. That my walls had too much moisture and it was dangerous. The master bathroom supposedly had 100% humidity and the guest bathroom varied from 27 to 47% humidity. That was supposed to be very dangerous. They said my flange was below the tile level which they said was not right. I have since found out that is incorrect. I had not asked them to check out the master bathroom but they had me extremely concerned that I was living in a hazardous situation. Before I knew it, my guest bathroom was completely gutted and my master bathroom was partially gutted. A restoration company called copperstate came in on their tails and had me even more concerned about what was going to happen in my home.I erroneously thought they were under Angie's list also. I can't complain about the quality of the work from master router because it was good I was just not prepared to do $20,000 worth of repairs to my home. Especially since it was not needed from what the previous company had said. My insurance company is no longer responding and has paid only a portion of what things have cost me. and so I have now had to fork out nearly $20,000 and my master bathroom is still not finished. I do have to admit that they did find an issue with the repair done by Roto-Rooter in 2018 but that should not have cost me the kind of repairs that master router forced me to have done. I would not have had to have two major bathrooms gutted. I have not told him about things like the bubbler that they cut nor that I still am not happy with the cement repair but I am concerned because I've complained about him the cement several times. I'm afraid they won't ever make it any better. I would like it if master router could give me a partial refund because it would never have cost me this kind of money if they had just repaired the toilet the way the other company recommended. The toilet in the guest bathroom still has its original symptoms from the problem that the contractor was supposed to fix."
