"Jerry did a great job organizing this with very little stress for us builders, walked us through the project from beginning to end, kept very communicative throughout, and kept his team moving the project forward. We are thoroughly pleased with him, his professionalism and the timeliness of the project. The outcome of this massive RV garage exceeded our expectations. Kudos to Jerry and AZ Home Services. I have already recommended him to two friends."

"Gene is very straightforward about what he can do, also with great knowledge on the task at hand. Gene and Jeff arrived early and then went right to work. Had me go out and see if things were as I wanted them. They finished the job in a timely manner and very professional in the way they handled themselves. Thanks again Gene and Jeff! Chuck Cupples"

"I had a walkway constructed from the lot to the entrance my commercial property, and I must say that the service provided by Mr. Polk or his team was truly exceptional. The speed at which they addressed my needs, coupled with their open lines of communication, exceeded my expectations. Initially uncertain about what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their work. Even years later, the walkway continues to garner compliments from visitors. This enduring positive feedback is a testament to the meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail exhibited by Mr. Polk and his team. Looking ahead, I am considering future projects for my property and would not hesitate to engage with Mr. Polk or the company he represents again. Their consistent delivery of outstanding results, as evidenced by the enduring beauty and durability of the walkway, reassures me that my property is in good hands. Continuing to collaborate with a reliable and skilled professional like Mr. Polk will undoubtedly bring continued enhancement and value to my commercial property. Their commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction has made them a trusted partner, and I look forward to furthering this successful relationship for years to come. ."

"After looking over the reports on Angie's list, I decided to go with Thornton Plumbing based on reports. My husband called July 1, and received an apology that they would not be able to come out that same day-which we would not have expected! Service was set for the following day with a time frame from 9-10:00AM. We did not ask for an estimate of the job. Mike arrived right on time at 10:00. We introduced ourselves, and Mike went to work. I asked if there was anything we could do to assist, and when he opened the cabinet door below the sink and saw that it was cleared out, he said, "Nope, this makes me smile." Due to the hard water we have in Phoenix, there was a build up of water marks around the base of the old faucet. We have a Corian countertop that can be sanded with a fine grit of sand paper to remove the water spots. We did not have any of the needed sand paper, and Mike stated he would bring in a mesh sheet from his truck that could work. He did not have to do so, but removed the water spots (and crust) with Soft Scrub and the piece of mesh prior to installing the new faucet. The installation took approximately 40 minutes. When asked for any tips with maintenance, Mike suggested taking action at the first signs of a leak that could mean replacing only necessary internal parts rather than a whole faucet. It was also a plus having the $20 coupon offer from Thornton for the work performed."

Land Clearing Services questions, answered by experts

Land surveying can help give clear guidance on your property boundaries for numerous situations. And in some cases, having your land surveyed is a requirement. Some common reasons to have your land surveyed include:

  • Planning for construction projects, like building a fence

  • Locating utilities, such as plumbing fixtures

  • Settling property line disputes

  • Creating subdivisions

  • Meeting mortgage requirements

  • Selling your property

Costs vary, but you can expect to spend between $1,000 and $4,000 to prepare land for a mobile home or before you build a house. You’ll need to clear enough land for the foundation, which may require leveling or grading, as well as removing trees, stumps, and plants. Don’t forget to plan for permits and fees and the installation of a gas line, water line, and sewer main.

When considering the price of drilling a well, factor in how much you’ll save in water costs per year. The average family of four uses 100 gallons of water per person per day in the U.S. With a private water well, you can save hundreds each year.

Wells are also environmentally friendly. You don’t need to worry about drinking water treated with chemicals. Talk to at least three well pump contractors in your area. They’ll be able to tell you more about your options, give you different quotes, and discuss the biggest concerns.

A land survey provides precise property boundaries, reveals legal encroachments, and identifies rights-of-way, minimizing disputes. Understanding the exact dimensions and features of the property aids in informed decision-making and safeguards the buyer's investment.

This is fairly rare, but sometimes the local government or a group like a historical society will label a tree as a landmark, or historical item. These designations almost always come with a small, on-site plaque for identification, but you should also be able to look up protected trees in your area on a city website or similar list. If the tree in question is a landmark, call your local government and ask how to proceed before making any plans.
