A technician came out promptly but said a blower motor was needed, which would have to wait until the next day due to parts warehouse being closed that evening. When the tech contacted me the next day, he said the part would have to be ordered and not be in until late Thurs, with installation now sooner than Fri. The tech then told us on Fri morning that the part wouldn't be in until Monday. Our area was under a heat advisory, and at no time did the tech display any sense of urgency, nor did they attempt to obtain the part from any other supplier in the greater Bham area. Extremely poor communication, planning, and service. I will NEVER use Ontime again."

"Timothy is incredibly friendly and easy to get in touch with. Another company had come out to diagnose my AC and claimed they fixed it, but when I got home, it still wasn't working. I reached out to Timothy around 9:00 pm just to ask about getting a diagnosis. He asked me a few questions, assured me he could fix it, and said he could come out that same night. It’s not customary to tip HVAC technicians, and most professionals won’t expect it.   • Discontinue use immediately if you suspect a malfunction, as running the AC while broken can lead to significant issues. 

  • Turn off (or adjust the temperature) when you leave the house.

When your AC contactor goes bad, you might hear chattering or buzzing noises coming from your air conditioner. You may also notice that your AC is running but isn’t cooling your home. In some cases, your air conditioner might not even turn on at all. There could also be physical damage, discoloration, or corrosion around the contactor.

As mentioned above, not all HVAC Schrader valves are necessarily the same. While the valve core and pin or spring size on Schrader valves used for HVAC are generally similar, the valves are not all universal and interchangeable. The size of Schrader valves varies depending on whether it's used in an air conditioner, bicycle tire, or motor vehicle tire.

  • You’re getting higher electricity bills.

  • Your home doesn’t feel as cool as it usually does.
